💥 what if i didnt upload for 6 months and then made an impulse PMV on trackpad in a week. hi, welcome to jackass with none of the entertainment value
“primarily” with the non-dominant hand is a bit exaggerated, i got too excited and swapped for a lot of parts HAHA but, drawn entirely unsketched and drawn entirely on a laptop trackpad, didn’t allow myself to re-do or overthink frames.
i’ve been having a weird year so this started off as just a rough thing to blow off steam, then i started experimenting and now this might be one of the favorite things i’ve made so far. feels weird to finally like what you’re making. i’m glad i finished it 🙂 figuring some stuff out. thanks for sticking around.

+ this was a hell of a lot easier on my wrist than i thought, so, already planning more videos like this … specifically for characters i haven’t gotten to flesh out storywise as much yet cause i was worried about busting my wrist on something that might not “stay canon” (despite all of these basically being concept exploration anyway) ….

speaking of lore, you’re getting an incoherent lore dump for once because 1) this is a very incoherent story, largely on purpose and 2) i love making timelines hop around for no reason and then not elaborating. can you tell im not a writer (and not letting that stop me)

LORE DUMP:
➜ every character and animal in this is endre, aside from vita (the other boxer) and bane (guy with the wolfsbane for a head)
➜ endre is a goth underground boxer (what’s on the tv is a pirate channel) under the ring name “HOUND” in his early-mid 20s (arc 1) and a freshly lycanthropy-breakdown (it’s complicated) werewolf in his early 30s (arc 3 onwards)
➜ the setting takes place in an alternate world where the sun is bleeding/crying/dripping and everything is getting progressively more disorienting through a slowly progressing dreamscape whiteout pseudo-apocalypse (it’s a mess), hence why things look a hell of a lot weirder as time passes
➜ the way lycanthropy works in this world is that it can be repressed, as a lot of things can – but that doesn’t mean you Should do that or that it’s good for you (early arc 3 endre is in hell for a lot of reasons but having done that for his entire life isn’t making it easier & has made the whole Werewolf Thing a lot more pressing)
➜ bane is the same character as the oleander guy from my other videos and endre’s cornerman-amongst-other-things and one of the guys who handles fixed matches in that circle when they happen – he has a face but endre doesn’t remember what he looks like, nor does he wish to or need to
➜ vita was in endre’s boxing circle and had a very brief thing with endre pre-bane, before endre met damir (goth motorcyclist and surgeon, the other protagonist, not present here). vita is also the guy endre bit in the valeria golino mv. it’s fine goths do that
