I had a ton of trouble following this up to the part with the kid. Now I'm to the next door neighbors, Mrs Lucas's husbands back story. Unless he's a major player I feel that this is a lot of explaining for an irrelevant character. A lot.

Oooh! A long video, how awesome. The house has have a private well, so if it was some infections agent in the public water supply. At least I could possibly be safe from that contagion. But a frighteningly good story about mutated people and animals.
