Hi y’all! Isn’t the china pearl set beautiful?? All those pastel cups and plates are just lovely – I’m so happy they didn’t all break when thrown into the dumpster. We also found holiday decor, bean bags, clothing, food, and lots more today. It felt like people were moving out even though it is the middle of the month!
BTW.. the Hawaiian shortbread cookies we found are *delicious*!! I am going to have to buy them now because, oh man they were tasty!

The black tray looks just like the one I got at Ollie's to put you wet shoes or boots on to keep your floors dry.
The 2 roll up things might be for laying across your sink to set washed dishes & things on to dry. Mine is bigger, but rolls up like those when not in use.

I'm really glad you haven't experienced the horrors of bed bugs and have been tempted to ask about that. Unfortunately, they are getting to be more and more common in the US. I had trouble with some after I had stayed in a hotel overnight. They came home with me! 🙁 After a lot of research, I found something that finally worked and it's safe to be around pets as it's natural. (works on ants and fleas too!) It's called Diatomaceous earth and you just spread the fine powder (wear a mask) on things like bedding, clothes or anywhere you think you could have an infestation. There's even a "food grade" that you can put on your pets for flea control or humans even ingest it (not me) for health benefits. Anywho, just wanted to share this tip with you for just in case purposes 🙂

Printers are usually cheaper than the ink. In other words it's usually cheaper to just buy a printer with ink than to buy replacement ink.

the black thing is something to put you wet shoes on and the metal thing that roll up are for you kitchen sink to set dishes on to drip water off .
If you didn't find out the flat silver things are for dish drying or to go across sink to drip dry dishes
Oh and the black plastic thing I think is for shoes or boots to put on after taking off like inside door or mudroom
Too bad that Alex didn't take the wood. He could have sanded and polished it for your Home to use as a shelf or sell it for 200.00. Sanding and polishing it would have really brought out the patterns in the piece and really raised its value. That's a missed opportunity. Maybe take it if you see a piece like that next time and give yourself a month to do something with it. You can always throw or give it away later.
The black rubber thing is for your muddy boots/shoes and could be used under pet bowls. The roll up metal things are rolling drain boards for your sink. Great haul!

Plez before u do anything with that China set, google it. It a very expensive set! Also those miniature glass things r expensive too! I use to collect them. Love your show by the way. Sad wen u think about all the stuff that goes to the trash!!
Be careful getting dry food from personal pantries. They could have bugs. I don't think those coming from a store would be bad. Great dive!
Unbelievable how many useful things are thrown away vs donated.
You should empty the vacuum before you leave. You don’t want other people’s dirt at your place. Those metal role up things go over the kitchen sink so you can wash your vegetables without putting them in the sink. That curved mop is only curved because the sponge has dried. Once you put ithe mop into a bucket with hot water and floor cleaner you squeeze the water out and mop the floor, dip squeeze mop.etc.
Did the vacuum, microwave,etc. All work?
Black plastic tray is for wet and muddy shoes and the roll up metal mats are over the sink drying racks
What happened to the video? one minute your taking cans of beer from the dumpster then all the sudden you have the been bag chairs & stuff in the truck & your at a different dumpster. I had to rewind a lil & rewatch to make sure I didnt fall asleep or something in the middle of watching lol

Sadly, bedbugs were eradicated in the 40’s. Then all the foreigners brought them back through massive traveling. Chinese and Indians are known. Our government banned the product that killed them, same as Kwell for scabies. Now Kwell is the name of another product altogether. But the government banned 2 products that kill bugs. Makes ya wonder?🤷 there are newer products, but not as effective.
That melon liquor was probably amazing! Fruit liquors are super tasty. U just pour a little bit. Intense flavor. I would have loved that one! Yum!
