Your logic is flawed. US funding for Ukraine is not the reason why Ukraine is losing. The fact is that the strategy of killing Russians to cause a regime change in Russia was illiterate. Russia is and has always been the soviet Union with More nukes than any state and also a Space power. For some strange Biden Politics, the US convinced itself that Russia is not the Soviet Union and a backward country. From the Start I pointed out that Ukraine cannot win a war against Russia without the full support of China. Why, because Russia fears China more than it does the US. While the US claim it defeated the Soviet Union, the real reason the Soviets broke up was China. China won the Cold war but didn't take credit for it because that wasn't important to the PLA.
