William & Mary trounced Gardner-Webb 54-14 in the second round of the FCS Playoffs last week to earn a spot in the quarterfinals. The 5th-seeded Tribe plays at fourth-seeded Montana State on Friday night in Bozeman.
The Bobcats raced to a 33-25 win over Weber State last week to advance to the FCS Elite 8 for the third fall season in a row. MSU was the Big Sky Conference champions while William & Mary was the Colonial Athletic Association champions this fall.
