Welcome to the fifth episode of our Princess Cruises Sky princess Norwegian Fjords vlog series! We’ve arrived at our third port, a favourite port of ours, Olden!
Join us again in this episode for some stunning scenery. Today we take the Glacier Sightseeing tour from the quayside in Olden. This cost 300 NOK which according to our debit card was around £25 per person.
We same some amazing food in this vlog. We have a fantastic lunch at Alfredo’s and in the evening we enjoy some sushi at Ocean Terrace, Princess Cruises’ Shushi restaurant.
This 7 night Sky Princess cruise will take us to the Norwegian Fjords, known as the land of the midnight sun. We will be visiting Bergen, Skjolden, Olden and Stavanger. This is our 3rd time visiting the Norwegian Fjords – we just love the scenery and sailing through the fjords.

What fantastic scenery you were able to capture! WOW. This reminds me of our recent Alaska cruise. How cold was it?
Things that surprised me: 1 – you have to set up your own table in the pizza place; 2 – that it's free – surely it should be? & 3 – you have to pay extra for the sushi restaurant and to get ice cream. Surely you pay enough for the cruise in the first place! Beautiful scenery, well captured, and it seems you've been lucky with the weather which is never guaranteed in coastal Norway even in the summer.
I saw this ship in Southampton it looks beautiful, hilarious towards the end off the night 😆

I envy you soooo much! I want to add this to my bucket list! I think my next cruise is the Alaska cruise on Princess, but the Norwegian cruise may beat it. It's the air fare that determines my choice. Round trip from Colorado is a bit pricey.

Lads that’s just taken us back to 2018 when we were there, stunning location. We went on a walk just opposite were the ship docked, breathtaking. We were on regal last year and Alfredo’s was superb, best pizza on the sea and the tiramisu was off the scale.all he. Great vlog lads, all the best now.

Another lovely vlog – the scenery really is stunning. A question though, I've never been on a cruise but it seems really noisy – the sound of people and the music in the 'wine bar' you were in was quite offputting to me. Is that how it always is or are some ships quieter than others? 😀
Love Olden and will be there again when travelling on Sky Princess in couple of weeks. However……….. please tell me I'm not going mad! I thought you'd already put up a vlog about your day in Olden including the land train but that seems to have disappeared and you're on the open top bus!

It took me three days to find the time to sit and watch this episode and it was worth the wait! You're right, the scenery is spectacular! On my Regal Cruise, the veal pockets were the best thing I ate all week. The second best was the chicken salad sandwich, late at night from the international café. The night time chef realized that by the second night I loved them so she set one aside for me every night after that. Service was astounding!
