Six Players Earn PGA Tour Cards AFTER LIV Signing..

Welcome back to Sports Craze. The domino effect of the latest LIV Golf signings was felt on Friday when six tour pros hoping to somehow keep their status on the PGA Tour for the 2022-23 season became the beneficiaries of the latest round of defections.

After hitting their opening tee shots in the first round of the LIV Golf Invitational Boston, Cameron Smith, Joaquin Niemann, Marc Leishman, Anirban Lahiri, Harold Varner III and Cameron Tringale were immediately suspended by the PGA Tour, as has been the case for all tour members who have competed in LIV Golf’s three previous events. In turn, the tour announced that the six players would be removed from the 2021-22 FedEx Cup Playoffs and Eligibility points list.

  1. If LIV had been a series of 5 or 6 big$ events cosanctioned by pga and DP it would have been great. This is just destructive to a sport built on history and tradition much like baseball. It doesnt need foolish Greg Normans "innovation"

  2. And they are still banned from the pga and majors…..except the us open which if they go through the qualifying process they may participate….. they didn’t earn cards from LIIV…they did it from mini tours and Koran ferry tour…… the stupid assholes

  3. It wouldn’t matter if Jesus Christ financed the LIV Tour, the PGA would have found something bad to say about it. I don’t want to see anyone from the PGA using Uber ever again! Because the same Saudi investment fund backs Uber.

  4. What does this mean? It means that the PGA is a shyt tour because tiger may win another title because the field is weak as fug. McIlroy will win alot more tournaments because of the weak ass PGA tour. LIV is the future if PGA does not get rid of the CEO and other people who are abusing the charitable rights the PGA has and paying themselves millions.

  5. Good for the new PGA players, and those playing for the Saudi golf league now they can take their money to the bank and play among themselves. Where are the “WOMEN LIBERATORS” on this issue? Do they know how women are treated in Saudi Arabia? The September 11th families know exactly where they are on this golf league. The end result is MONEY, ANYTHING ELSE IS JUST B.S.

  6. If the PGA and all of golfers on the PGA tour are so critical of the blood money they say the LIV Golfers are playing for from Saudi Arabia why dont they "CANCEL THE SPONSERSHIP THEY GET FROM THEIR 23 SPONSERS THAT SPONSER 27 PGA TOURNAMENTS EVERY YEAR INCLUDING FEDEX WHICH SPONSERS
THE LARGEST PAYOUT ON THE PGA TOUR. THESE 23 PGA SPONSERS DO OVER 40 BILLION DOLLARS OF BUISNESS WITH THE SAME SAUDI ARABIA THEY ACCUSE LIV GOLF OF GETTING MONEY FROM
WHAT IS THE CHANCE OF THE PGA CANCELLING THESE SPONSERS? HOW ABOUT OOOOOOOOO CHANCE.
