man, im not even American (or from any other Anglospere nation) and even i’ve heard ”Coming back like a bad penny” before😄 I dont really know exactly what it means and i dont remember where i’ve heard it before (probably a movie or a YT video) but i think it means ”something unwelcome coming back” or something along those lines
