Jesus they wasted so much on these animations that 95% of us will never see ingame, i wont even pick up a low durability gun (unless the gun just costs ALOT or is super rare), if instead of paying animators and coders to make this happen, they payed coders and bug testers instead Tarkov wouldnt suck nutz so much
The EFT team have the best firearm mechanics in the market. The fact they animate the malfunctions for all the firearms is nuts. Sure some may say they should fix blank or blank instead, but I think the firearms and their IRL counterparts are a huge selling point for the game. Its fun going into a raid with your creation. If your in the US in a less restrictive state you can even recreate your favorite IRL.
This is cool and stupid at the same time, there should be no delay when you trying to shoot a jammed gun, because no matter the nature of said jam, there is only one clearing operation to solve them all aka force cycle the chamber.
If you reach for the bolt and pull it but it won’t cycle, you don’t have to examine it, the malfunction is self inherent. If you pull for it, and it doesn’t come, just get a better gripping position on the bolt handle and rip it hard.
Probably just an oversight but why do you need to inspect the weapon on a bolt or pump action gun to know the bolt is jammed when the whole reason we know the malfunction happened is because we tried to cycle the bolt or pump and it got stuck?

kinda dumb you wouldnt check mid fight with a bolt action just push it harder.

I like how for bolt actions and pump actions, you only get hard jams cause the only other jams are caused by human error
when the weapon hits 0 durability it should just crumble apart in your hands

You’re fighting for your life rack that thing like it owes you $50, don’t look at it like “wow did this piece of plastic really j do that?”

easter egg idea if you have a hammer or something like it on you when it jams he uses that to whack the bolt handle 🙂

When durability is this low the gun should have a chance to explode.

every video game, including tarkov ; as intended, you jam your hand into the bolt/slide/latch to firmly drive it back to rest without issue.
this one specific issue of hard jams "b..b.b..but I found it on a pmc kill like 3 raids ago.. I can't be rough with it! What if it gets scratched!!"

Does the PMC really needs to inspect the gun to know that the bolt is jammed? ^^
How does that even happen outside of dirt ingress like it's a bolt action?
its easy to replace the old bolt to new one. (if you can't find the bolt action to loot places or scavs.)
