My twin girls will be 3 in march …. I literally gained SO much weight while pregnant with them …. I went all the way out with them … my first pregnancy with my son I was 17 and did everything I could to not show because I wanted to cheer my senior year (yes I know selfish of me but again I was 17) so I didn’t indulge any of my cravings …. Fast forward 11-12 years and I ate everything I wanted … I just wanted to indulge in that “I’m pregnant I’ll eat whatever I want” phase … I am 5’1 so gaining 5 lbs you see it immediately …. Well I gained almost 70 pounds!! 70 fucking pounds!!! Yes 2 babies but they shared a placenta so I don’t get to double everything 😂
Anyway, I breastfed for almost a year …. I lost every single one of them 70lbs in 3 months. If I ever have any other babies I’ll be finding a happy medium of not eating anything more than I do normally to eating everything in sight like my life depended on it because leaving the hospital and not being able to fit into anything had me depressed… again I was 17 when I had my son and didn’t look pregnant until week 34 and never had to wear maternity clothes, just went up 2 sizes in reg clothes …. Obviously it was different at 29 with twins but my god I cried and cried and cried I felt like a beast. So I totally believe between breastfeeding TWO babies and running after a toddler Mykelti lost a lot of weight from that alone… cause you burn a lot of calories breastfeeding but mykelti wasn’t super little before she got pregnant with her daughter … so there had to be a lot of work and effort on her end to lose all that weight
I agree …. I think people would be less likely to leave rude comments, or criticize her when her adorable little daughter is in the video… let’s be honest Avalon is a little cute kid. I’m surprised..… Not that malty is unattractive, but if you catch my drift, you catch my drift… Now you know who I think is really pretty probably the prettiest one of all the kids, ysabel. She was a cute kid, and she’s grown up to be very pretty. Maddie’s little girl too. She’s super cute. I’m like thinking of this as I’m using voice to text to comment anyway, I agree I think that she’s using Avalon to try to minimize the amount of negative negative comments… And God knows everyone’s gonna have a freaking opinion about everything. I have opinion about most things, but there are just some people that literally look at every single solitary little thing, and will tear somebody apart for it like oh you have your child?? You give your daughter screen time?! Oh, my gosh you’re having her hand you things?! you’re having her in a video with you?! Meanwhile all these people that have so much to say I guarantee that at least 90% of them are doing the same things.
Honestly, in a house with 12 kids, at the point of beginning to film, I can imagine that it was chaotic to say the very least. And since there isn’t a parent to every child, or even to every three children, I’m sure a lot of them were running amuck. And I don’t see Christine being the disciplinarian parent. I don’t see her letting them get away with everything but I don’t see her being the one to put her foot down repeatedly so that they understand that no you can’t do this and you can’t be doing this and saying that and treating this person that way and treating that person this way and I can see Mary being that way. I can see Mary consistently being like no absolutely not. You cannot do that you can’t act that way you can’t speak to me that way etc. etc. etc. and with kids you need to be consistent you can’t just be like no don’t do that and then expect them to never do it again and Mary comes off as a tough parent, maybe a more strict parent so maybe she considers that abusive. I’m sure most people today would think that was abusive. However, think that kids need to be disciplined they don’t need to be screamed and yelled at all the time but you can’t let your kids get away with everything because you’re just gonna end up raising hooligans and entitled brats. There’s a difference between parenting and disciplining a child, and being abusive to a child And your children… Making them aware that their actions have consequences… Is what’s best for them. The way mykelti always spoke about it made it seem that Mary put her hands on her. Now yes there are plenty of ways to be verbally abusive and emotionally abusive to a kid, but she always just made it seem like Mary was slapping her around or beating her.
I have a hard time with who I think is right and who I think is wrong but I also never want to tell someone they weren’t abused. so until we know exactly what happened I’m just gonna stay neutral.
I breastfed both my kids and dropped my pregnancy weight and even more weight, very rapidly after having my baby boys! I was one of the lucky ones!
I breastfeed 5 children (one at a time) and I was always so hungry I replaced all the calories burned. BUT I've heard most people loose weight and I was an oddity.

My friend's brother claims to have PTSD from his Dad yelling at him. This generation of kids thinks abu$e is something that it's not. I think the problem is when they started talking about abu$e it was in regards to one romantic partner (adult) doing something to another which may not be okay like controlling, etc. & the kids just want to take it & run. karMany adult kids these days in their 20s & 30s think spanking is abu$e. Ugh karma will pay them back.
