I love that the Japanese actors get to act in such a big show here while speaking their language. It makes the show feel way more authentic and rich in culture. It would be really watered down if everyone spoke English since it takes place in Japan. I think it's really cool. It's like how we felt about Black panther. Having an almost all Japanese cast is huge!
Fun Fact: Hiro who plays the main regent Toranaga actually produced the whole show. He's very proud that its closer to authentic Japanese and not western japanese.
You will get use to it as the show goes on.

General, Homey Joe – In my feed Pt 1 was missing. I had to go to your channel to find the video. As a years long subscriber I find it very sus that one video pops up, but the other doesn’t. Blackthorn doesn’t want a bath because of “the Flux” or now known as dysentery. (did ya’ll ever play Oregon Trail as a kid? That dysentery.) It can be spread by dirty water. It’s an awful death.

It's crazy that you want it to all be in English. It's so much more authentic for most of it to be in Japanese. Also, imagine if you were Japanese watching it. It would be really ignorant for a show about your culture and country to be all in English. Really the Portuguese bits should be authentic too, but maybe they thought people would be put off with no English in the show at all, which is a sad reflection of our culture and our attention spans. Aside from that, excellent reaction.
