SHOCKING! EXPERTS REACT TO KING’S CANCER BOMBSHELL | PALACE CONFIDENTIAL SPECIAL

As the world reels from the news that King Charles has cancer, Palace Confidential’s royal experts, Rebecca English, Richard Eden and Robert Hardman share their insights on what the implications of the King’s diagnosis are for the monarchy.

Rebecca English reveals that King Charles remains ‘very positive’ and that the challenge for those around him will be forcing him to step back from his duties to focus on his treatment. Robert Hardman looks at how Prince William’s role will change, as he undertakes more duties to step in for his father and Richard Eden asks whether Prince Harry’s announcement that he would be dashing to be at his father’s side is ‘rather tasteless’.

  1. It suddenly occurred to me that King Charles beat Harry and Meghan at their own game. Meaning, get the diagnosis out there so that Harry and Meghan can't. Well played for sure. Two birds with one stone, in bringing awareness to others, but also protecting the Monarchy from those two.

  2. I’m American and it’s refreshing to watch a show where the guests are the voice of reason. I’ve watched a few shows where the host and guests seem like Sussex Sugar Sycophants and I had to switch channels. Thank you for such an enjoyable program!💙

  3. Harry flew over to see his Father so quickly because he’s been demoted as Counselor of State. He’s also concerned William will be in complete charge sooner than later and wants his Father to secure his inheritance. What a dreadful, selfish, spoiled little man.

  4. I have been watching PC for quite some time now. Love it. But I really do not care for the new balcony opening. Can you put the old one back. I miss your old studio. I liked watching the cars and buses go by below. Wishing you all the best across the pond . Looking forward to Thursdays episode

  5. Chill people. Of course he wants to see his father, and the brothers are certainly capable of supporting their father and getting on in a civilized manner. Richard needs to have a scotch and insert less of his Whitney comments about Harry.

  6. Why do the Royal Family lie? We know they're human! People get over cancer. I was diagnosed with cancer & everyone in my circle knew it. No secrets, no denial. Luckily for me, it was diagnosed at a routine PAP test & caught early. A routine procedure a few days later & home the same day & I was given the all clear.
