  1. No.8 lizard one: everyone said the legs shooting already, but also, if it fall from higher place, it stay upside down for longer time. Very logical thing, but I didn't figure out this after complete the game 3 times😂

  2. Watching you play this has been a pleasure, Sky. Shadow has always been one of my absolute favorites.

  3. Shadow of the Colossus is the second game in a spiritual trilogy consisting of Ico (2001), Shadow of the Colossus (2005), and The Last Guardian (2016). The ending with the horned baby is intentionally left open to interpretation, but perhaps if you were to play Ico, some evidence of how the games may be connect will be revealed…

  4. Man, its a different time for sure when I notice new players saying stuff like "the game doesn't tell you that". Well, you have a controller in your hands, back in the ps2 era and before it was expected to be your responsibility to explore the controller and press all the buttons to see what they do in different situations! Then the 7th generation came and tutorialized everything to such a degree that Demon's Souls and Dark Souls became increasingly popular thanks to its obtuseness and lack of handholding as players grew more and more tired of being babied by their games

  5. You are playing the remake that was released on the PS4?, but the original was released for the PS2. Nowadays, this game would pass for an average Elden Ring/god of war/etc. clone, but for the technology or 2005 this was pretty groundbreaking.

  6. This game is ahead of it's time, still one of the best game I ever played and still remembered when first time I finished this game on my PS2 back then.
This game is a spiritual prequel to the Ico (2001) and there is a third game The Last Guardian (2016) that made by the same team.

  7. I would highly recommend playing a game called Ico if you can. It was developed by the same studio that made this game and The Last Guardian.

All of these games are said to be connected and take place in the same universe. Ico was developed first, but in regards to the timeline, it’s a sequel to Shadow of the Colossus.

  8. There is so much symbolism in this game and in this ending. I like that nothing is defined. A great work of art is like this. The strength of the horse, the child with its innocence and beginning of life, the fragility. The feminine strength, the awakening from a great sleep that can represent so many things, the size of the colossus that we can see as power or egocentrism or whatever. The shadow that inhabits a hidden side of each of us, the sword (courage) that shows the way, the unknown land itself that can represent an unknown place within us. At the end, we have a large staircase leading to a beautiful garden. This in itself can be an ascension to a higher state of consciousness. This game is beautiful and powerful.

  9. I can’t believe I never heard of this game being on PS2 back in the day….of the apparent remake of this game as well😎. Great graphics and pretty good story, but geez this was a long sit through…good though, it’s nice to see people play games you wouldn’t normally play yourself and I sometimes enjoy a long video as well👍. Take care Sky, love your Ghost Of Tsushima play throughs as well.
