  1. I really enjoy the videos but you and your son working together is awesome. I really hope your plans for this truck is to get it going for him. It is obvious that he really likes it and he has been with you from the beginning on it.

I work from home and have your vids on each day one of the best things is to see your growth as times moves on .

To look back n see you in the drive way under a car but now in the flash new work shop with fans n heat n car lifts .

  3. Love the way you and your son work together , not many youngsters get or want to have the experience and knowledge you are giving him . Most kids these days only want clean hands .

  4. What a joy to see you work with your son. Derek, if you think for one second that these revivals are old hat, you're so very wrong. It never gets old. Keep doing what you're doing and we'll keep coming back.

  5. Wow, Derek seeing you and Bentley giving this sweet truck some love was awesome. Cherish every moment you have together, they will learn so much from you. Me personally I would love to see a complete rebuild of this engine IF the block is good enough shape if not a 400 would be nice. Good luck on it.

  7. I use a Harbor Freight sand blaster siphon gun to suck out small engine gas tanks. I bet that would work well sucking water out of a cylinder too!

  9. it really makes me happy to hear how kind and patient you talk to your son. it really matters.
i grew up learning to fix shit with my dad, but he was always angry and yelling. not fond memories.

also keeping the fluid off em, we forget how carcinogenic everything is, even just getting it on your hands…

  10. Derek ya gotta teach Bentley my secret to free up an engine. I just pee in them cylinder holes let it sit a minute or two and crank the key…. I gotta drink a little extra when it comes to them 10 and twelve cylinder engines though… I'm good for six and 8 though…
