Noooooo I missed the stream 😭🤬
The artwork actually was in making for 3 and half years before the kickstarter campaign. It's funny how you guys mentioned that by looking at the card you'd know what it does, that actually i think was a goal of Erick. To recognize a card just by looking from afar. Also you guys STRAIGHT skipped over the maelstrom card!!! Lol . That card is beautiful!!!
The post sound effects are making me lose my mind. Love this stuff. Glad I subbed for the next set!
Ooooh the hype is strong. I made Zach and Steven's sealed pools into decklists on curiosa. I'll be using those as reference to build my own sealed decks and play with friends!
What I like, is that most of the games of Sorcery I've seen played revolved around something unique, like that Magnetic Muzzle. And I wonder how this match would have played out if Zach hadn't seen the Magnetic Muzzle in hand. It would probably have been a very different match, and I like that about it.
I’m really regretting only getting the starter decks on the kickstarter. The limited play potential sounds so fun
For the record the two of you losing yourself in building the decks at the same time was great streaming content by my book.
Card effect: "Flip a coin…"
Predestination: "You determine the random outcome."
Me: "Okay, so the coin gets flipped, it bounces off the ceiling, hits your avatar, knocks your life to 0, spins, knocks your deck on the floor and out of the game, and I win!"
You: "It's heads or tails fam."
Sorcery is so thematic and really fun to watch, good video guys!
If you guys are thinking of tokens and stuff for this game… Maybe something to mark atlas cards that have been changed or added elements to them due to other effects, or tokens for something like submerged/burrowed. Those are some interesting things I could think of to add to this game.
I would not be surprised if the Unique card that was removed from the set would be a ''Curio'' in alpha packs
Fantastic stream, as always fro. TC!!
Backed the KS for the game because of TC, signed up for the subscription cuz why wouldn't I.
This game is great The art is fantastic. The game play seems more around having fun and awesome moments and less worried about a competitive nature, which sounds by design, and that just trut speaks to me as someone who loves playing card games. A game where theme decks is, aparantly, part of the design … sign me up. oh wait, I already did.
Wicked aweosme of TC to pass those production cards out too. Just one more(or the 1000s) example that TC is all about its players/customers. Personally, wicked excited in hopes I get 1 but even if I don't, to get the game itself and a promo is unbelievable!!!
Cant wait until next week. hopefully I'll even be able to join live again, one of these days!!
what about the changed or removed cards? never heared about that. what does that mean for my boxes? did you receive another box version? sorry if i missed the explanation, did not have to watch part 1
