Starfield Impressions, TES 6 Wishlist & General Elder Scrolls IP Wishlist | The Zorkcast

With Starfield out for a few months, Elder Scrolls 6 now officially in development and me having strong thoughts on what Bethesda should do with the TES IP, there is a lot to talk about in this first (and probably only) Zorkcast.

I guess this is not really a professional podcast. Just a mic test in which I ramble about 3 topics dear to my heart, which would have otherwise required 3 seperate videos I did not feel like making. Sometimes there are audio issues, which came about when I was testing this microphone and did some stuff with the settings to get it in the right window for lore videos.

  2. assassins creed black flag elements in TES 6 would be cool. It could have carribean and North African/Mediterranean flavors. And what would make TES 6 really stand out, is if the land inside the continent (with the nomads and mountains) is equally deep in gameplay and is expansive like the ocean.

  3. An elder scrolls spinoff game I would like to see is a slasherfest game like the force unleashed and no more heroes or dmc series but with a better story and it being cannon and more gore and dismemberment obviously

  4. The dragon age books were pretty decent bordering good in my opinion and set up really good back story for lore that happened prior to the games like dragon age origins and dragon age inquisition, it’s a shame tes hasn’t done the same thing despite being around far longer and with (probably) deeper lore. I agree whole heartedly elder scrolls universe books are far overdue

  5. I really want an Elder Scrolls game made by Fromsoft set in Black Marsh during the Oblivion crisis. Think it would be the perfect opportunity to explore the province and some of the more strange lore like Rootworms.

  6. I think The Elder Scrolls 6 map should contain Hammerfell and Highrock to make for a much larger map, it would be interesting to see. I don't think a game set in the Black Marsh would interest anyone. I also wouldn't be opposed to a game set in Akaviri or a game set in Tamriel but features Akaviri, it would be a cool opportunity to introduce new races and factions. There should also be a follow up on the situation in Skyrim and the state of the Empire. The game could feature the Imperials making a last ditch effort to hold onto power in Hammerfell and Highrock or we could see a continuation of the Aldmeri Dominion's ambitions in Hammerfell.

Other than that they should keep the Dark Brotherhood, they should have a pirates questline, they should have better dungeons, better voice acting or at least a larger variety of voice acting, they should keep fighters and mages guild type factions.

The primary thing I want: KEEP REAL LIFE POLITICS OUT OF THE GAME. I'm not going to get too hyped about this game because of how shoddy Starfield was, that was meant to be Todd Howard's baby and they failed miserably. Terrible quest design, terrible story, outdated engine, it was awful.

  7. They should bring back the dragon Nafalaar who was in Redguard and ESO, they could realistically say Alduin brought him back but he just chose to stay in hammerfell, he could be a non-aggressive dragon that simply gives a few lore stories about tiber septim, the second era, give a new perspective on the dragon war, what happened to Paarthurnax, Odaavhing, the Dragonborn, answer whether or not dragons actually came from Akavir, etc and what’s happened since Skyrim. I was originally thinking Odavhiing but Nafalaar would make more sense as the dragon in the cave lore wise

  8. Would really like another official novel, they could release it 1-2 years before TES VI, even if it’s only 200-300 pages that’s better than having it be super drawn out
