  5. Resin PSA: some resins are good to weigh, others measure- follow directions on packaging.

    Part A & Part B may be safe by themselves, but when mixed a chemical reaction happens that releases toxins.

    The gloves Wendy is wearing with keep hands clean, but won’t protect from the toxins. These toxins can cause contact dermatitis. Nitrile gloves will block the toxins from reaching your skin. You can then layer the less expensive vinyl or latex gloves over to catch the goo so you can reuse the more expensive nitrile gloves.

    The toxins created by the chemical reaction are also released into the air. They can cause migraines or more serious Lung damage. Wearing a respirator mask will protect from this.

    Many people choose to not protect their health or the health of others, but a lot of people simply don’t know. If you search on YouTube there are tons of people who have made videos about the damage done to their health by resin/epoxy art’s because they didn’t know to protect themselves.

    As an Epoxy artist, I beg everyone to be educated before using resin /epoxy. Then make an educated decision for yourself. And please don’t risk children who are still developing and could develop an issue that will last their whole life
