  1. I would agree, this isnt really my type of song.

I would say though, having heard many similarly styled songs in various games and animes, there was a bit more effort in the details than there usually are.

So at the very least, while its still not my type of song, I can recognize that theres a little bit more skill and effort in this one, compared to what I am used to for pop promo/title music.

Also, its fairly popular for Japanese Rock/Pop to throw an english phrase or two in a mostly Japanese worded song. Expect that to come up again if theres ever something similar.

  2. Love this song, and love the game. A lot of people ripped on it for being "too easy" but I thought it was fairly balanced and a LOT of fun.

And just yesterday the director of the game came out and said he wants to make a sequel.

I cannot wait. Namco has been on an absolute tear the last few years. Now we just need confirmation of Code Vein 2

    * EDIT: As an avid anime fan, I feel obligated to explain that yes, a lot of J-Pop songs do incorporate the odd bit of English here and there, either because it just sounds better, or the phrasing in Japanese doesn't quite fit.

  3. Scarlet Nexus is an odd game for me. I love the concept for the world and how it sets you up for combat. The visuals from a design and fidelity standpoint are excellent, but it falls flat in the presentation side. The music and sound design are also great. I just wish the dual protags weren't so weirdly one note.

If they could fix that for a sequel they'd have a total smash on their hands. I'd give the game a 7/10.

  4. The oral cigarettes were mostly known before this game (in the west anyway) for the 2nd op for noragami, "kyoran Hey Kids!!" which is a banger.

Since you found their name amusing, may I recommend you the bands bump of chicken, who did "karma", which is the jp op song for tales of the abyss (highly recommend) & "acacia", which was in the pokemon GOTCHA!! music video in 2020, Asian kung-fu generation (my favorite j-rock band), whose done a lot of songs for anime, p0rno graffiti, mostly known for the 1st op for my hero academia, "the day", & super beaver, who are mostly known for naruto, barakamon, & my hero academia in particular.

God, I love band names sometimes lol.

  5. Hi Jesse! I am new to your chanel and I absolutely love your reactions!
I suggest you try reacting to the Blasphemous 2 ost. It is gorgeous! For example "palacio de los setillos". Please 🙏 and it has the piano😊
