Your a bit late to the party hw97s always been a better rifle than any air arms 👍 let the thumbs get going 🤣🤣
Hi Gary, good to see some stick shooters there. It's encouraging that you were able to analyse what was causing your problem. If you can find the cause, you are half way to finding a solution.
Thanks for the use of your spare glove saved the day
It's good to know that experienced shooters have off days. As a Newby to shooting when I have a bad day it really knocks the confidence. I have watched many of your videos and appreciate the advice. Nice one 👍
Is that a factory fresh HW97 or tuned Gary?
Good day down there Gary, but it was a long haul back home to Scotland 🤣🤣always better when you take some silverware north of the border🤣🤣🙈
Hi Gary, another great video as always. I’d be very interested to hear your thoughts on the difference in depth of field between the CP 32 and 40. Thanks.
Hi Gary, great vid as always. I have my old 97kt stock with a nice hamster fitted if you want to use it for your tests? Short of a custom stock it really helped. If you look up ‘homemade hamster for HW97kt’ you can see a brief vid of it. You’re more than welcome to use it.
Shot mine untuned for a year, then tuned with the hamster for a few years and finally with a custom stock and it’s perfect.
Cheers, Matt
Good fun
Thank you for another great video Gary. Looking forward to the tx vs 97 shootout and your thoughts on the Diana 54 air king pro. I have recently purchased the Diana and think its a great rifle.
Great video!is that site in Hampshire
When are Weihrauch going to supply you with one of their fleeces?
I really appreciate your honesty in your videos and I am sure you will get the handle of the HW97. You always say we need to ask you questions in the comments so here is a challenge from myself. What performance can you get from a co2 rifle maybe something like the walther hammerli 850. I know it is not very common but I love co2 guns and thought it would be a proper challenge
Go Go Go 97😍
Hi Gary just watched your video and enjoyed if I may make a couple of suggestions for to experiment with I think using and pigs ear or scope enhancer is not the best thing use on a recoiling rifle as it would impeded the guns natural motion and this could vary with gun angle. The other thing I noticed is your forehand hold you grip the the pig and put the gun on top of your hand. Have a try at turning your hand round so the back of your hand is against the peg and you cup the four end of the stock between thumb and four fingers this keeps the gun and scope well away from the peg just a couple of things to experiment with I'm not saying you're doing anything but a couple of things you could try all the best Gary
@Gary Chillingworth is that the first or second focal plane scope your using? i see optisan offer both option's for this new scope ,nice to see you shooting a weihrauch btw
Hi Gary. I really enjoy your vids. At the end you spoke about elevated shots, I’ve found a lot of people don’t know this, basically you take out gravity for longer so you will shoot high as the pellet is still climbing to reach the scope/eye line, get out in the garden or woods and shoot up a tree at around 25-30m at a branch and you see what I mean. You could always do a video on it, cheers Daz.
Hi Chilli
Really appreciate you doing this video , especially after a night shift , ( i work nights) , I'm sure all the things you mentioned on the Drive home you'll get sorted , i too have the 97 and really believe in its capabilities , once again really enjoyed the vid .
Cheers
Glen
Gary, My son was asking. What type of train do you drive? He is a big fan.
