Back when the show was airing, I never saw the cops' relationship as romantic. Even when they say & do something that's subtly romantic, I just thought they were being wholesome pals. So I don't know what the hell Disney's problem was with having two guys have arms around each other.
Now its time for more cartoon reactions! Steven Universe, Adventure Time… so many options! 🙂

I'm pretty sure my first ever YouTube comment was on a 'The Royal Order Of The Holy Mackerel' theory video about Dipper's real name and I ended up being right, which was well before the journal came out and actually revealed it.

Yeah, I remember seeing Alex's tweet and thinking "what a fun idea for the fans in the US, I wish I could be part of it" and like an hour later I find out that the first clue was found in Piter, where I was literally 2 days ago. The Universe has a sense of humor.
To answer Eric's question I really like this type of podcast. It would be fun to watch something like this after the end of Attack on Titan, for example.

Every time I recommend this show to others I like to compare it to a mix of The X Files and Twin Peaks with the accessibility of the Disney Channel.

What I love is that when people started figuring out the Twin thing, they gave a red herring instead of completely changing course. So many shows will have a plan and then change it to make no sense when people get to close (i.e. pretty little liars), but this show stuck to the plan.
Also I think the reason Mable is close but not actually annoying is because she isn't dumb, like she is extravagant and loud but she sees things too and is always willing to help people. Usually characters like her, they play off as ignorantly selfish.

+Blindwave The 2 things I wish you guys would have mentioned is: 1) Bill Cipher has a twin & it's Axolotl. I'm fairly certain this has been established, but perhaps it's just a theory. 2) In addition to Rick & Morty there was a pseudo crossover in Disney's Amphibia w/ Amphibia versions of Gruncle Stan & Soos. The whole think with Alex jacket is that he literally wear the SAME red flamnel jacket every single day! He did make a bet and I think he lose? Basically he had to burn his jacket but he bought a new one soon after!
Also I certain the whole pig funny scene was suppose to be when Stan got that pig carrier as he was punching that dinosaur!
I remember watching this show when I was a little kid when it was airing. Solving all the ciphers and puzzles while everyone was figuring out the big secrets was so much fun and is now a big part of my childhood. I’m so glad 10 years later people are still enjoying this amazing show 🙂

I've seen some Gravity Falls Reactions, and about the ciphers most of them just look them up, i think i've seen one that was doing it offscreen but stopped cuz it were mostly jokes with nothing really important. But you guys were so fun to watch! Watching you look for the keys and cracking the codes, and how you were genuinely loving the show, it was just so cool. I was a kid when watching some Gravity Falls on tv, so i didn't participate on treasure hunts and keys and codes, i discovered all of that after, but with you're reactions i felt like i was experiencing that too. Thank you, it was the best reaction series i've watched, for anything really 😁

The version of the video you watched skipped a section where one of the clues got accidentally binned by the people who owned the place where it was and Alex had to scramble to make a new clue.

A new show I'd love to watch them react to is TMNT (2012). The writing is really really good and they have an absolutely stacked VA cast. Plus that animation is so crisp

For Dipper's name. My neighbors family in the 50-60' had 25 children. They have a tradition where they use the all children share the same first letter of their name. So E: Eva, Eric, Emeline, Etienne, Emar, Evangeline, So on and so forth for the 25 children. But now the children have children so they keep the tradition alive. Like one is S: Sam Sylvio, Suzie, Steve.
The 10 year anniversary of Gravity Falls wasn't too long ago. I was around 7-8 years old when this show started. Google says the show ended in 2016, I was 10-11 years old when Gravity Falls ended. I'm 17 and about to turn 18 soon now. Thank you Blindwave for letting me experience what my childhood was like again but with you and your first experiences seeing this show too. It's a bittersweet feeling for me watching the end of this show again. Back then in elementary school Me, my Friends and Family would all be super excited to discuss what we thought might happen next. I experienced all of the fun mysteries and theories personally when the show was running. Back then I wasn't thinking of finding keys or deciphering clues, just about the fun wacky adventures of the Pines Family. It's been a long time since "last summer" in Gravity Falls. I just don't know what to say or feel right now except for thank you. I appreciate whoever took the time to read all of this too. 🥲🤝🏻
