  1. 22:17 surprised you didnt recognize it was Addison from Saw 2 and earlier in the clinic fight next to him was Gus aka the guy who got shot in the gun eyehole in 2 and the long hair guy in the background was Troy from the chain classroom trap in 3

  2. Have you noticed that there was no escape from some traps and that this is not Jigsaw's way at all?
It already started in part 3 with the policewoman who was torn apart. She had taken the key out of the acid and still couldn't open the locks. What a chance the detective had here before his head smashed. None.
Who set the traps when Jigsaw wasn't able to do it because he was in bed dying?

  3. Okay kids I will tell you as you learn in this one he had another follower so there's still more movies that that's how they keep it up he was just so meticulous with his planning and I'll tell you some of the people I've watched react to the series have skipped a few of the later movies to get to 10 don't do that you get a lot of backstory and whatever but I will tell you 10 is one of the best

  4. The first scene in the autopsy room is what happened after all the events in the movie. Saw 2 took place 6 months before Saw 3 and Saw 3 and Saw 4 took place simultaneously. Why Hoffman seemed thoughtful and surprised after finding the tape on Jigsaw's stomach is something you'll only find out by watching the next movies 😜

  5. Apparently the thing on Art's back was supposed sever his spinal cord, but I couldn't tell you what source this comes from, or what was required to set it off. Rigg going through the door sure didn't affect it in any way

  6. "have you learned how to truly save a life?" at the start Jigsaw told him to see how he sees, that only the person can save themselves, meaning Riggs should do nothing in order to save lives

  7. Eric's actor only came back in 3 because he was promised he would die (this was when the series would end with that film). He was furious when the higher ups had Eric survive, and only came back as a favour.

Earlier scripts had other characters returning.

Jeff would have his second game along with Lynn's lover Chris (who would have had choice of revenge or forgiveness), only for them to die. Eric was set to be the main player who survived with Hoffman's help, though Donnie Wahlburg's fury would complicate things.

Lawrence's lawyer friend would have had Art's role.

That man in Jigsaw's lair in the first film (the one Sing saved before his own end) would have been another accomplice.

Had Riggs not opened the door, Strahm would have shot him under the belief that he was Jigsaw.

  8. Strahm and Perez are some of the best cops in this franchise especially Special Agent Peter Strahm. He's smart and knows how to get information. I wish Eric Matthews was used better especially considering how long Jigsaw kept him. Mark Hoffman ended up being my favorite Saw character next to John Kramer. Loved this movie and the twist of Hoffman being the apprentice. You will get all the answers in Saw V.

  9. Few things are more entertaining to me than two (or more) people that have great banter, chemistry, and genuine laughs while watching the most gruesome scenes in horror, lol. This was a blast.

  10. One of the themes of the film is learning when to let go. Sometimes, you cannot save everybody. Sometimes, they have to save themselves and be on their own. This has been pointed out quite a few times. Rigg's wife saying this and Hoffman warning Rigg about going to an unfamiliar area. His first test with Brenda was simply supposed to leave her to her fate. But the tricky part is if he chose to save her, she would have to kill him due to Rigg being a police officer and the photos were of Brenda pimping out young girls for sex and money. She feared that she would go to jail for her crimes. Rigg's second test was to let Ivan, a serial rapist, save himself and make his own choice to live or die. The third test was more or less a review and choose if Morgan truly learned how to stand up for herself and her daughter and cut off Rex, her husband who abused them both. The last test was simply just letting Eric, Art and Hoffman save themselves by themselves. All Rigg had to do was pretty much just let all the people survive all on their own. All he had to do was to do NOTHING. All of the clues were right in FRONT of his face and he still didn't get it!
Sad part is that while Rigg is not a super bad person who has good intentions but he never truly learned anything and that's what I resent the most. What a shame.
