S4E15: Quartzsite Arizona Long Term Camping

Have you heard of Quartzsite long term camping area? Its a place where you can buy a permit and camp on blm land for months, if Quartzsite was closer to a bigger city I could have stayed, the community there was just simply amazing, it was so inviting and open, like a big nomadic family!

  1. The reason your dog is panting is because the dog has anxiety. Many people.mistake that for the dog being hot and turn on the AC. The best thing you can do is Crack or roll your windows down. The moving air has a calming effect on most dogs. Sometimes it takes awhile, in my dogs case, it took a few weeks of her driving in my vehicle with moving air. Try it Julie, if you do it consistently the non stop panting should stop.

  2. When Tuba started whining my Charlie kept doing that German Shepherd head tilt…I think she likes Tuba ☺ Did you check out the big tent to see if there was any place hiring? I bet you would be a great campground host?!?!?

  3. Quartzsite will return to be deserted as the heat rises and only the most determined(without choice) will remain in a few short weeks. Most will head back to their snowbird homes to enjoy the good weather where ever that is and be back next year. The true nomads scatter to parts west and north chasing kind weather and be back next year, maybe. I left Quartszite a week or so ago. Lake Havasu is freaking beautiful has some BLM lands too and all the stores and the people have been welcoming and friendly. Yay Arizona!
