I think there are 5 factors for what the class and stats on a staff will be. the three staff parts, the planet you reload on and the cabinet itself. I can't confirm the reload status though but I do know that the same combination at multiple camps even on the same planet will produce different results.
Did not realise I could make this staff. I had all the parts but wasted it on something else haha. Now I gotta keep checking on the planet for the same bunch
I play in crated so I get as many and make as many I want.

The void mote reward dissapearing from quests is a bug that occurs when you buy all the character custmisation pieces. It was fixed in the experimental build

It didn’t give me an s class at this exact location. Same exact pieces

I have all pieces for each staff. Just need to find a unit that gives me a good class and charged slots. They're quite rare I think.
Love this update. Wish they gave us better variations of the robot parts though.

Do you have to build the C class starter staff first? i keep going to different camps and only ever got the options for the starter staff. now that I have all three pieces, it will not let me look for other pieces.. i tried putting the three pieces i have in containers on my freighter and also destroyed them.. but still only get the same sections…
