Great video Brett and Adam thanks for the info have a great week ๐
This was not the ceramic Pitt Boss, correct? Love you guys. Keep it up.
New griddle do this!
I'm terrible at cleaning my Blackstone after each use, as I don't use it often. I use a pumice stone, a little water and liquid dish soap. And then rinse and re season it. Excellent results. Griddle on my brothers!
New griddle do this!
I'll have to do this to my old Blackstone. New Griddle Who Dis? Giving it to a neighbor and now it lt will not look trashed.
What are those hooks you have?
I am in the market for hooks
New to Griddle, Who dis? (I don't know why the other comments didn't get that.) Looks good guys.
New Griddle, Who Dis?
I usually have to do this every year cause mine doesnt have a lid and it sits on my outdoor patio all winter. Its not in the weather but still gets dirt and moisture blown onto it.
Great info thanks guys
NEW GRIDDLE WHO THIS, Great tips gentlemen definitely have some spots needing looked into. Have a fantastic week. Cheers and Griddle On!
New griddle, who dis, great video guys. I am thinking this spring here in Iowa I am going to have to resurface my griddle, got a lot of chipping going on, this video will help me out.
Awesome tool, I just ordered it… it's like a new griddle, who dis!!!
When i am done cooking i spray it with Pam. When i use it next time i wipe it down and burn it off. No rust ever.
My friends got really rusty and i told him to block the drain, tip it and fill it with vinegar. Worked like a champ. Now he does my Pam trick.
I got a spot where rain water gets in and is rusting a bit. I'll have to grad one of these and give it a shot! Good job fellas!
I need to use this on my wife's car.
Ill season withahigher temp oil like avocado then cook with canola or pesnut or vegetable oil unless im doing keto for the family then all avocado oil
Heck YES you two!!!
Good job brothers ! I like the new back yard thank you Frank from Montana…
New griddle, who dis?! I got to revive my Blackstone once this artic blast is gone. Have you ever used their griddle top restorer?
We use Crisco for seasoning our griddles for home and camping. It works fabulous ๐
Nice video Guys. Thanks. I need to find me one of those brushes.
I got my blackstone griddle for Christmas. Canโt wait to use it thanks for your tips on cooking and cleaning but also seasoning the griddle.
Good content but video too long to get to point
New fence, who dis?
Looks like a very effective tool. Easy peasy๐๐
Your passion is contagious!
You never did answer what's better. Pumice or Plastic scrubby pad.
New dis, who griddle, wait… lol! This was great, a nice reminder that it really isn't difficult or the end of the world if your griddle surface isn't perfect. I know I still get anxiety from looking at my griddle surface after a long winter's nap, but I know it all be okay. Hope you're having a great new year so far. Griddle On!
Looks like that worked very well indeed. Last week I want to use my Blackstone which I hadn't used in a few weeks and I noticed a spot or two That looked odd. Wasn't really rust colored but it wasn't really food debris either. I used one of those grill sponges with the handle that I normally use to clean the grates on my pit boss smoker. I heated it up till just slightly above 200ยฐ and went in with some peanut oil and the grill sponge. Worked wonders. I imagine this is kind of similar. I like when you have these instructional videos, I feel they really help people out. I also like that you stressed to tell people not to use soap on a season to griddle. Totally agree.
New griddle who dis, looks good ๐
I have a pretty good amount of cast iron pans, pots, griddles etc. and use them daily. I always clean them after each use once they have cooled – I NEVER use soap on the cast iron. I wash with very hot water and a copper scrubber, then I put them back on a little heat (Stove top) and let them dry. I only put a wee bit of oil (I use 90 wt gear oil……..J/K) after it has a cooled a little. Yes cleaning and caring for cast iron is a chore but it is worth it.
Now when I go to use it again, I just heat it up, wipe off the 90 wt gear oil, then I am ready to go.
I love my cast iron (I won't name names but it rhymes with Lodge……ooooops, I mean it rhymes with Hodge)
I have a question to ax you (I Say Ax because that is how people on the Judge Judy say it)…I want to buy a large griddle to go on my 4 burner gas BBQ – do you know where I can get one? (I have a….rhymes with Hodge), but it isn't big enough, it is 10" x 18", I need a 24" x 18".
Thank you for the cleaning tip
BTW, I have bought each of your cookbooks for myself and also for my friends.
Happy New Year (Henry from Northern California)
New to griddle who dis lmao cool tool guys I've always used a stone on mine I'll try one of those!
Brethren! Thank you for tips to keep the griddle working and in peak performance. Looking forward to new and delicious cooks this year. New griddle, who dis?
