Russian troops tried to drive a tank loaded with two tons of TNT at Ukrainian lines in the village of Vodyane, but the attack failed when it hit an anti-tank mine. Drone video from the Russian side shows a foolhardy soldier driving the tank before bailing out and leaving the vehicle heading towards the Ukrainians. The Russian retreats to a safe distance and takes cover, but his mission fails when the vehicle hits an anti-tank mine, and detonates with a huge explosion. It is not the first time Russia has used so-called ’suicide tanks’ against Ukraine but the tactic is rare, and has only been caught on film once.
