Why is Russia not defending its territories and people?
If Russia wanted to protect civilians and its military,it should have evacuated them to Siberia on the 24/2/22,instead of invading Ukraine and killing or causing deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent lives , Russians and Ukrainians and machineries etc.
if Russia wanted to demilitarise Ukraine it would only require to send kamikaze drones to strike only military facilities in Ukraine.
If Russia wanted to denazify Ukraine it would only require to surgically strike their training centres and commanders, and not to renazify Ukraine by releasing the captured nazis!!!

Russian Sukonkin states there are serious issues with how mobilised units are formed, which leads to them uncontrollably leaving the battlefield. He says that these units' commanders are also mobilised and don't remember anything from their training.
The United States military is very good at logistics – VERY good. But they have one serious weakness, apparently. In withdrawal they seem to go into panic mode and leave a lot of equipment behind. This, mark you, without much in the way of pressure. They had plenty of lead time in Afghanistan, and no real pressure against them. it seems true that the Russians left a lot of gear behind in the course of their retrograde from Kharkiv/Kharkov, but that was whilst still in contact with an enemy who was advancing against them. Kherson seems to have been a carefully orchestrated retreat, with the pressure being held back successfully whilst the whole withdrawal agenda was carried out.
The Brits like to think of Dunkirk as something of a moral victory, even though a strategic defeat. Perhaps the Russians will look upon the withdrawal from Kherson in the same light.
I have to admit, though, to some surprise at Russia's decision not to maintain some kind of bridgehead at Kherson. Perhaps they decided it simply was not worth the cost in personnel, and that retaking the place will in the long run be achieved at less cost. No doubt future events will determine whether that assessment was the correct one.

Sanctions, even against central bank I would think (to me) isn't that much of a tip off on weirdness in the world today. Blowing up pipelines – that's more concerning image to me. I mean "someone blew pipepline, well whop-dee-doo" and "someone blew up president's plane, well whop-dee-doo" are western headlines on the same level of madness (well maybe blowing up president seems rather more serious)
One advantage Ukraine has is intelligence gathering. They are getting sattelite images of Russian troops from the USA. Why doesn't the Russians do the same? Or do they even have the technology?
Chinese and Russians biggest mistake is that they tend to hype up their military machines and prowess to get sales. Unfortunately the Ukrainian invasion has tremendously affected the sales of their weapons after seeing their tanks and armored vehicles getting blown up by hundreds every day
