  1. I posted a large letter at a post office in Chelmsford 22 November '22 it's now 28 November 2022 my letter has still not arrived in Brentwood just 10 miles away, how the f–k can the post office workers demand a pay rise, when they are clearly not working! I now have to reprint . 24 A4 sheets of accounts and drive to Brentwood my self. Using the royal mail is like putting your letters in a rubbish bin and paying for the privilege, shocking company!

  2. My friend works for a job agency which provides seasonal workers for royal mail. She is given 5 hours of work from 10pm to 3am. She waits around after work for 2 hours till 5 am when the public transport resumes. It's shamful treatment for such conditions and she makes £45 each day only to have £30 net left due to paying for her transport and food.

  3. Can some one explain how 2% already paid 3.5% on offer now not backdated to April when pay increase was due and 1.5% next April becomes 9% over 18 months my maths makes that 7% must be the 2% bonus one of payment non pensionable offered if and when offices agree to revisions but it's not an add on to future earning power

  4. Total flannel from Royal Mail. Trotted out statistics, but wasn't questioned properly. FACT: They made big profits and handed out big dividends recently, so can afford to give a decent payrise to posties instead of creaming all the profits for themselves.

  5. So u want to turn RM into something like amazon delivering parcels. Who's going to post letters and junk like that then? Also your wanting workers to use their own vehicles to deliver these parcels, work a 7 day week from 11am till 19:00pm. U give them a pay rise and they will need to put that towards their insurance because they will need to change it to business use and other. Them striking isn't all about the pay it's all this other stuff too and I don't blame them. Not just that threatening with redundancies when u don't really have enough staff to do the job as it is.

  6. 1st class mail now takes 5 days to arrive which has a negative effect on my business. And we have seen a big down turn on sales. For a SME, this is not good as we my have to layoff workers.

  7. Almost let he’s true intentions slip at 6mins, the cream! Than he will be gone a long with the billionaire after all the stripping of workers & assets are done! Nothing long term about there plans or actions to provide & maintain the quality of service Royal Mail is known for both for customers & employees. He’s very competent at making a mess & blaming others, perhaps he will go into politics next, he did work on test & trace shortly before joining Royal Mail
