  1. My grandfather used to help his neighbor (a funeral director), he told me once when they were bringing a body from the hospital to the funeral home, it actually sat up in the back of the hearse. They found the car on the side of the road an hour later.

  2. You're so right Polo. He was brilliant. Too bad he's not around now. Can you imagine what the woke culture would be thinking of him? Haha! And for sure about affirmations. Act as if you've already achieved it! It works. Love your honest reactions. Thanks.

  3. Yo Ninja! You just articulated some simple insight that Mushroom Clouded my Psyche. Affirmations are everything! I was washing dishes on my 50th birthday. It was this past Mother’s Day. I worked just under 14 hours. The next day I started as a line cook. 6 weeks ago I got promoted to PM kitchen Supervisor. I’ve been writing stand up jokes too. I Know I’ll be doing my thing in due time…

    I’ll Letchu know.

  5. I wonder how many people who were in that audience is still alive right now. Interesting thought. Also, affermations… there is something there for sure, where your attention goes, energy flows. That being said, if something is really a known truth, they don't really need any affirmations. I don't think Bill Gates has a yellow sticky-note on his bathroom mirror to remind him he is rich and successful. I think affirming the process that best allows your goals to be cultivated is where it's at. Calculus can help you get to the moon, but it can't help you shoot a basket ball any better. Gotta have that balance between the inner monologue, and applying that knowledge. If someone really knows something to be true, they don't have to try so hard to convince themselves or others. There ain''t no missionaries knocking on your door to spread the message the sun is gonna come up tomorrow. Funny as it might be, taking something for granted is probably the strongest affirmation one gives something they really assume to be true

  6. George Carlin was so many things…philosopher, comedian, student of human nature & more! It's supposed to be that…..because they were made perfect to start with incest was not an issue. As the generations continued….the bloodline broke down through sin and such. At least thats how it was explained to me by a Jehovah Witness! lol. People take pics at funerals?!! 😱 Flowers…thats why I always give the person their flowers while they are still here! My Gram…rest her soul…wanted balloons! We did a balloon release….white doves & purple balloons…her favorite color. Death row….it takes longer to die on death row than it does for most of us to kick!
