  1. The 90s is my Era, they DID NOT PLAY EVEN CLOSE TO THE AMOUNT OF BASKETBALL YEAR AROUND STARTING AT 10 OR 11 YRS OLD AS GUYS DO TODAY. WHY IS IS THIS SUCH A HARD TO COMPREHEN ? THIS IS A MEDIA DRIVEN STORY. ONLY KAWHI HAS ABUSED THIS RULE. EVEEYONE ELSE IT BARELY HAPPENS. LASTLY, THIS IS WHY GUY IN THE OAST ONLY LASTED 10 TO 12 YRS AND WERE OUT THE LEAGUE. I RATHER SEE GUYS PLAY 65 GAMES AND PLAY 20 YRS INSTEAD

  2. MJ, I play every single game because there is a kid or a family out there coming to see me and this may be the only game they can ever see me or the only game they will ever go to period.

  3. It's pretty obvious at this point that the way to eliminate load management is to drastically cut the number of games.

And, its pretty obvious, that if the number of games are cut, everyone will be taking a hair cut, including the players. Cut 50% of the games, lose 50% of your salary. Easy peasy.

Ultimately, there is no alternative. Why? Once fans really start getting sick of never seeing a full team on both sides during the regular season and once fans start really getting tired of teams half stepping during the regular season, they'll lose interest and stop going to the games. And the revenue will be lost anyway.

To be honest, I'm shocked fans still flock to these travesties. I, myself, think regular season games are incredibly boring and have lost interest in watching them. Wake me up for the playoffs.

  4. If you cut the number of regular season games, player contracts would be drop because of lower revenue.

Also, if you give a chance for people to get refunds because of players load managing the stadium will be empty haha

  5. let's put it this way:
palyoff 1st seed plays 3 games home, 1 as visitor, and then next 3 home.
or 2 home, 1 as visitor, 2 home, 1 as visitor, 1 home.
Also: deduct ALL missing games from the salary. can be a percentage of the salary, but these gus are loaded with money, but load managing at the end

  6. It's not just load management,, the sports gambling and FanDuel has alot to do with these players missing games and late scratches.. I think its BS if your healthy play. I think if u sit a player for rest. Your team should have to pay for everyone's tickets and parking..

  7. Is not good to cut the season to 70 games or 65 games cause then now it's not fair to players who are coming up today who wanna break records but they can't because they're playing less games then players back then, same thing the other way around the way the nba have made rules for players today to get easier points and get easy triple doubles its not fair to players back in the days who got it the harder way so you got players now who's gonna break all those guys back then records quicker end easier so when it comes down to rating them on who was better the players today is gonna have the advantage, so people are gonna rank players today above the players back then just because he has more points or whatever other stat. That's why the NBA should've never change no rules ever leave it the same way when it first started.

  8. Honestly – Basically in some cases the teams are conceding games. They are simply not trying to win. No Different than Tanking.
Why would anyone want to watch a non competitive game?
