As someone who has grown up in South Carolina, I absolutely love the flag. The sapphire blue color and the palm tree with the moon, it's so pretty and I'm definitely a fan of it.

Florida's flag is not a holdover from the Confederacy. Rather, it is a holdover from the Spanish conquest of the Americas. The colors are a dead giveaway. It is based off of the Cross of Burgundy.
