  1. i dunno, i think Fahrenheit Is a Better Temperature Scale Than Celsius itrelates to how we perceive temperatures. Like it or not, humans are sensitive creatures; a small shift in the temperature can mean the difference between ultimate comfort, sweaty misery, or a frozen shiverfest.

  2. Oh it is absolutely hilarious and insane when you can get both the burn and freeze on weapons, I had my point defense both freezing and burning. It was nothing but explosions and I sat on a single level for an hour just farming it.
Also the Goodstrikes were doing some work but it was mostly off screen or at the edge

  3. The numbers for F were created by the guy finding the foldest day, calling that 0, and the hottest, calling that 100. At least the range he was aware of. (Well, that was what i read previously. Guess it may not be well rstablished?)

But you should use Rankine. Thats the best temperature system.

  4. Imperial measurements being clung to so hard and called "Freedom Units" is a hilarious and ironic thing, considering the empire they refer to is the British empire, the very country the US sought independence from. Don't make the same mistake as others, James. Raise the Ultra Child on metric. >3

Liked the "god strike" build by the way.

  5. Pretty sure toward the end there you were replacing wave projectiles, probably there is a cap. I think the dev learned their lesson about uncapped silliness.

  6. The scale was initially a freezing point for a specific brine solution, and the upper limit was 90 (for some reason) as the body temperature (obviously later redefined). Generally speaking, people tend to say fahrenheit is better at describing the FEELING of the temperature, while Celsius tends to be better for measuring the temperature of materials.

  7. Fun fact: On the way from Europe to America the ship carrying the metric system and the guy to explain it were blown off course into the Caribean. As you may know the Caribean was jam packed with the kind of dudes that were the prototype for Jack Sparrow and ofc they stole the stuff and took the scientist hostage. Guy died in captivity and that was that. There were some weak further attempts at going metric but they all failed. 😂

  8. I still want to see you guys try a tag/ion bolt(ion tri-shot + cruise missile) run there is a card that gives ion bolts a 20% chance to fire whenever you pick up exp tagging can give even more exp and it gets really stupid I murdered the boss in 10 seconds on the highest difficulty

  9. the best way i have heard the difference between the imperial and metric temperature systems is this; the imperial system is measured by how hot thing feel to people, whereas the metric system is used to measure how hot things feel like to water
