Godzilla looks skinnier as seen from the new, unreleased Hiya toy and the recent clip with Kong riding him. I don’t know how to feel about this Godzilla design. It’s weird because I kept saying he’s way too fat. Thick neck, thick thighs (which is a staple of his), but then his smaller head made him look fatter than how he really is in 2019/2021.
Now that he’s thinner, I’m not sure if I like it? Perhaps they made him a little too thin. I figure they made him slimmer so he can run faster. But he now looks less threatening now that he lost some of his bulk. I’m not feeling either of Godzilla or Kong’s designs in this movie. I still prefer 2019/2021 Godzilla and 2021 Kong more.
Kong looks older like he’s a viking/Kratos (2018/2022). While I’m not feeling Godzilla being that much slimmer and all that pink stuff on him like he visited the set of Barbie last year. I do like the color pink but not on Godzilla. They’re trying to feminize my Big G and I’m not buying. Minus One G looks much better to me. So the giant female lizard dinosaur has blue scales while the giant male lizard dinosaur has pink scales? That’s like giving Superman a baby blue and hot pink suit or make a Batman or Iron Man suit with all fuchsia.
What next? Make Godzilla and Kong gay for each other? I can imagine the ending to This Is The End (2013). Kong is holding Godzilla and Whitney Houston’s cover to Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” plays in the background. Both fanbases would be livid! Their “kings” were “queens” all this time! They were gay in love for each other all this time like Steve and Bucky! 🤣 This doesn’t mean I won’t enjoy the movie. I just don’t like the G24 design.
I really can’t wait to see Shimo once I see the movie. She looks to be under wraps until we finally see the movie. She might end up being my favorite kaiju design in this movie. But my personal favorite might be Kong again or maybe Skar King. The apes have the skill factor in their fights with their long arms, hands, and feet. They can throw crap at each other and use actual weapons. It’s like two humans fighting. While the dinosaur kaijus have the beams, tails, and the brute force.
I slightly prefer Godzilla over Kong overall but it seems I tend to prefer Kong more in GvK and perhaps in GxK again. I don’t know what Legendary is doing to my Godzilla. He looks a little worse to me. Make him pink and slimmer to cater to females. Godzilla and Kong looked more macho when they were fighting each other. Maybe the G24 design will grow on me since the MV 2014/2019/2021 designs took years to do so.
I still predict Godzilla will be the big hero at the end after he defeats Shimo. Return the favor to Kong for saving his life in GvK. Or Shimo gets free from Skar’s spell and freezes him before Kong smashes him to a million pieces. The ending was already spoiled in that clip with flesh splattering from ice. And there are leaks for this. You can see Kong roaring after he smashes the ice with flesh flying across from it.
It’s a predictable movie. Nobody expects Skar King to win at the end. Oh well, I’m good with my Hiya G21 and Art Spirits K21 figures. Now I need figures for the baddies. Shimo and Tiamat might have the most beautiful designs in all of MonsterVerse.
Male, Female, Or Asexual?
Is Godzilla male, female, or asexual? Or in this era, a pansexual? Should I start referring the Big G as they/them? 🤣 How did he have Minilla? The 1998 Zilla was pregnant. We always refer to Godzilla as he but what if he’s a she?
Now I think Kong is heterosexual. Dude is always chasing hot, white blondes (Fay Wray, Jessica Lange, Naomi Watts) and then getting chained for it like a Black man living in the South in the 1920s. Black men were getting lynched if they flirted with a white woman.
I’ve seen King Kong Lives (1986) and Kong had a female ape, Lady Kong, to make a son with. But Godzilla’s actual gender is still a mystery. Remember the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park were mostly females. But I bet a lot of us were initially imagining them being mostly males before BD Wong’s character mentions they’re all females.
Maybe the pink on Godzilla’s dorsal plates will reveal he’s really a she? That could be the big reveal at the end considering Shimo is female and is the one fighting mostly Godzilla in Rio. Our “God” was a woman all this time. If Godzilla is revealed a female, then Team Kong fans don’t need to worry about Kong being gay. He simply fell in love with a lady lizard dinosaur titan.
In 1962 Toho Productions bought the rights to Kong to produce the movie King Kong vs Godzilla. Not Godzilla vs Kong.

MonsterVerse Godzilla doesn't "tolerate" Titan Poachers. There are limits he has with humanity. Especially if Titan Hunters attack defenseless children, MonsterVerse Godzilla isn't a monster. MonsterVerse Godzilla is also a territorial animal. He's doesn't tolerate Titans that attack humans for no reason, either, as we can see. MonsterVerse Godzilla doesn't like to tolerate unnecessary violence that can harm the environment, basically.
MonsterVerse Godzilla isn't a hero or villain. He's a balance creature that’ll do anything to protect his kingdoms from the start because he is the connection between humanity and nature. He also strongly dislikes humans but rather acknowledges humans.

I love how in Final wars Godzilla didn't kill Anguruis, Rodan, an King Ceasar cause there allies.
He doesn't care about humans he only cares about the balance of nature, and if humans threaten the balance, then he will be their enemy.
