  19. This and the next episode (which i think were released simultaneously, correct me if I'm wrong) are one of my favorite rick and morty moments, writing wise. It's one of those in which the "less tangible" meanings behind all the batshit crazy stuff you see onscreen (like in this case, relationship dynamics, mental health, toxic traits, etc) is so cleverly written that it can hit some people (who maybe relate or our triggered by those elements) from multiple angles simultaneously, sometimes overwhelingly. And I think that's one of the things that makes me love shows like this one or Bojack Horseman: at their best moments, they hit you with multiple haymakers that are at the same time hilarious, smart AF, emotionally devastating (and/or wholesome in some cases), visually engaging, thought provoking and many other things. Sometimes it's so good that you even go meta and appreciate the craftmanship of what you're seeing in real time and that adds yet another layer of satisfaction. To me, not many shows and movies are that ambitious AND manage to pull it off.
