Bill Maher and Richard Dawkins randomly riff on how eating ruins everything fun, how most mammals are nocturnal, the New Zealand bird that’s forgotten how to fly, the trouble with prolonging life, the one bad thing about Bill, the science behind certain diseases, Bill’s sitcom role as the office creep, and why Richard’s part in Religulous was left on the cutting room floor.

  1. I found it odd that Dawkins refused to acknowledge the COVID vaccine's inability to prevent virus transmission. Instead, he pivoted to measles, rubella, and other viruses. I got the COVID vaccines and still got COVID twice. I also got a clot in my LAD artery that caused a widow-maker heart attack, and two blood clots in my lungs. It is what it is. Amor Fati!!!

  2. A shame Dawkins remains inhibited. Would have been incredible to see his mind and personality without the stodgy British wall Dawkins maintains. I can't imagine being 81 and worried about have a toke or a light drink with a friend.

  3. To the podcast team: How do I suggest a guest whom I believe Mr. Maher would enjoy conversing with? A witty, articulate, insightful, (retired) physician and bioethicist with philosophical ideas and opinions that he can openly share without fear of retribution.

  4. Love you for having him on. I was just thinking the other day about how I wish Richard was still in the public eye, but figured he was too old for the upkeep. Grateful for this video, thanks

  5. All virus-based vaccines are based on the notion of homeopathy, fight fire with fire, etc. But the practice became quackery, like people who will tell you how cannabis treats just about everything. Or God is All Good, All Knowing, All Powerful, Eternal and Omnipresent.

  6. Yet another great talk ruined by Mahers extreme leftism and political bullshit. I cant watch these anymore, its always the same and he is so blind he actually thinks he is "better" than the very people on the left he talks bad about.

  7. I think Bill really picked up the convo once the silly covid stuff at 16 minutes was over. I was worried he was not really up to discussing anything of substance but he bounced off Dawkins really well and showed some humility. Good for Bill

  8. Bill. Thanks so much for having Sam and Richard. It would've been great to have Christopher. Nowadays we have some up and comers such as Aron Ra, Seth Andrews, and so many well educated atheists. Can you consider adding them?

  9. Bill, one humble feedback — you choice of set design does not make your guests looks comfortable or at-home. You need to change seating, camera angles and lighting. I love your everything and want it to be better. That’s all.

  10. Bill, do you think you can manage to be silent for more than 5 seconds when someone is trying to reply? Try listening, without interrupting with "yeah, I know that", "of course", "that's right." It's frustrating when you don't allow your poor guest to make their point, especially with guests like Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris who have so many interesting things to say.
