Today we explore the amazing dishes that are eaten around the world in other cultures. Jamie and Baz will review each and then try to guess where in the world they are from.

How about doing a recipe relay with an actual recipe written in a foreign language and they must figure out and make it with only one clue at the beginning of each relay.
Could you please show maps of the location from where the food comes from
As a french Canadian from the Saguenay Lac St-Jean Region, this is not tourtière. This is meat pie. Real Authentic Tourtière or Cipate is allot better than this. Allot of people from Quebec don't know what real Tourtière is. Thank you for the representation though. Meat pie is also served during Christmas and it's good.
interesting
Do more dishes! Loved this! Merry xmas!
sortedstudents is an awesome throwback to the early years.
I thought the cranberry comment was a tipoff of Western Hemisphere.
My parents will always have hallacas for xmas, a nice call back to home and I'm so happy for both of them for getting this one right <3
OMG I got two right 😂 Finland and I guessed Sicilian for the last one. I impressed myself haha
Merry Christmas everyone 🎉
Toutière! Def a classic here, with lots of ketchup! and pickled veggies
L’a tourtières du Lac-St-Jean ❤❤❤❤
American: What's swede? Barry: What's rutabaga? Two nations separated by a common language.
Tourtière is my favorite meal ever. I make it every year with moose, deer, beef, pork and veal. It’s at least 5-6 inches thick. I marinate the meats in spices overnight. It’s cook in a low oven for about 10h. Potatoes and onions but not carrots. You put a hole in the middle and I pour beer in it every 2 hours. So delicious with homemade tomatoes and fruits ketchup.
As an Italian American, I was yelling at the screen, "Feast of the Seven Fishes." I guess they didn't hear me, but Jaime got it, anyway. LOL
Love your contact❣️ That may be an odd question, bu is the app only suitable for the GB, American countries, Australia and normaly grouped together areas for a release of a product from somewhere there or can it be used in order parts of the word as well? To make it more this is easy to understand: I'm Bulgarian and I do need help organizing my meals and food budget, scenes of as a recently I live alone and they were many changes in prices here. So an app like Sidekick will be of help to me. I'm willing to pay the price, but I don't know if it will be suitable and it will work properly for my place of living even though an app store it says that it's available. If I'm going to download it I want to be for more than the trail period.
Much of love and good luck to all of you 💘
As a Montrealer with Southern Italian parents, I feel extra represented in this episode 😂
You should try the Norwegian pork ribb next time. It’s fantastic. Or be more daring: Lutefisk, meaning cod in lye.
You should really do lutefisk from Norway next year. It’s jellied fish 🤣
You need to do Jansons frestelse (Jansons temptation)!
As an Italian American I knew what the last one was instantly
Technically Jamie won for the first one. Saint-Pierre and Miquelon islands are part of France and are located just a few kilometers away from Canada!
I'd love to see a series that more so serves as inspiration and showcases the guys individually. Each one would get one video and they all have the same categories for which they have to cook something they usually would. Like "you forgot to go grocery shopping but your family is hungry", "you invited the neighbors for dinner and are trying to impress them", "your go to comfort food"… I'd love to see the different approaches, styles, tastes etc. Maybe this could inspire us viewers to try similar things whenever we're in those situations.
Funny thing is that there’s a lot of Irish and French descendants in Quebec and that Canada was a British colony for over 100 years
My christmas wish is that you guys bring back the bloopers at the end of the episodes
