  1. I have a few

First is the Aftons should never be mentioned again. Treat games 1-6 as the Acton Arc and games 7 onwards is a brand new story

The FNAF lore is one of the worst examples of long term storytelling in Morden media

And this is more of a theory but I think Michael Afton used names like Jeremy Fitzgerald and Mike Schmidt as calling cards to his father

  2. Just ANOTHER hot take, SB would be scarier if they turned the lights of, figuratively and literally. If it’s supposed to take place after hours, shouldn’t the lights be off? If they just made the game darker in appearances, gave the animatronics eerier and more robotic “personalities” as some form of security mode, and changed the style of the animatronics to something a little less kid friendly, the game would have a much more serious tone.

  3. I'd have preferred Vanny overtime bulding a new body to transfer William's soul into, that way it doesn't ruin Henry's epic sacrifice and make him look like a failure
This way, it's someone actively trying to undo his success

  4. kinda late but my takes are that FNAF 3 should’ve been the ending and that all the stuff with human animatronics that are indistinguishable from people, remnant or agony or whatever the fuck it’s called, FNAF 4 not being nightmares but instead real, the fredbear plush also being real with a fucking walkie talkie, and generally all the really weird and futuristic stuff is incredibly fucking stupid and I’d say we’re mistakes to add to the franchise
they took this simple yet mysterious story and overcomplicated it to the point it’s not fun anymore
you don’t need to invent some new element to explain why children’s souls possessed the animatronics, or give William some stupid plan for immortality or whatever the fuck, it’s incredibly stupid and a terrible concept
FNAF needs a hard reboot, and I’d say sooner rather than later, because SB just killed any interest in whatever lore or story this franchise had left

also can we please stop bringing back afton and come up with a new goddamn villain? that’d be epic

  5. Well for the first question

    1. Michael died in the pizza place where freddy got consciousness first
    2. Theres michaels room in the pizzaplex
    3. Cool to see michael possess an actual robot and see him express his protectivene nature through a strong body

  6. I really love how Fnaf Vhs and how it executes the story compared to the games, the focus on the characters and their motives allows for you to get more invested in the characters. William Afton is a psychopathic monster but hearing him distraught over the lost of his son and the pure hatred he has for his other makes him actually scary. So main opinion is that since theorizing on lore aspects has been the case with these games for a while, I feel it'd be nice if we got more traditional narratives from here on out.

  7. Im sad that i missed this one out because i think that fnaf3 is the one game that deserves a remake…the concepts of that game was amazing in my opinion its sad that the ideas was implemented so poorly

  8. A hot take of my own
The only thing security breach did right for me were the designs of the animatronics, the daycare attendant Sun and Moon are some of my new favorites in the series and they should've gotten more screen time, the glamrocks look clean and look pretty cool when they're broken down, burntrap is definitely a step up from scraptrap too
