  1. The Duke reveals that he loves conflict and revels in violent entertainment. This is why he helped Ethan because Ethan kept him entertained by fighting Miranda and the 4 Lords. The Duke supported Ethan as a master would do to a gladiator. However, he is betting against Rose this time. The Duke shows somewhat of a dislike for Miranda and likely knows Rose herself is still being planned to be used as a vessel for Miranda's daughter Eva. However, the Duke lords over a region he rules in the Mold Hivemind and does not have power beyond that region. Eveline has a grudge against Ethan so that is probably why she is targeting Rose. Also, Eveline sees Miranda as a mother figure aside from Mia and is jealous of Rose being a vessel for Eva. Since Eveline was made from Eva's DNA and genetic material, she might have Eva's early child memories which are why the jealousy towards Rose manifested.

  2. I wish there were 2 more bosses of some sort to kinda complete the slight allusions to the lords and their locations.

(The Masked Duke and Dimitrescu have decadence and distinct hunger of sorts.

Eveline and Donna both have Hallucination based abilities and have slight themes of family cooked in.)

However I can understand why there aren’t more bosses since the 3 we got are really the only ones that can be grabbed and used without too much stretching.

    Edit-

The best idea I could come up with is an Amalgamation of both Jack & Marguerite residing in a drunk mixture of the Baker Plantation and Moreau’s Reservoir

The allusions between Jackuerite and Moreau is forced devotion and mutation to something beyond human.

Using this logic, Lucas could easily Slide into the Heisenberg Slot.

Both do have common themes of Trying to usurp the clear/not so clear antagonist, mechanical knowledge,

And minions, lots and lots of minions.
