The music in the background is from The Verve's hit single Bittersweet Symphony. Ren has just put is rap/poetry on top of it. The bass player from the Verve was so impressed with Ren's cover that he gifted him a guitar (very cool/generous of him)

Ren's Retakes are when he uses someone else's song for a beat rather than making his own. This was done using the melody from The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony", his song "Losing It" was done using Fisher's "Losing It", etc.
Rens videos are always carefully planned out – he uses friends as extras to keep it cheap.
