  1. This might be super nerdy of me but one aspect I liked about ground zeroes is the fact you rescue/capture people and then transfer them to the phantom pain. But I hate the fact they removed this feature in the definitive edition. The option to transfer your ground zeroes save is gone :/ plus they removed the ground zeroes trophies too šŸ˜¢ not much of a definitive edition if you ask me šŸ˜…

  2. One good thing I will say about ground zero is that It kept you Engaged and made you wonder what was going to happen next

And the Linear structure of the base and the Prison block gave you a Reason to Replay the game and get better

Personally I think platinum Payne should have took the peace walker Approach do the missions cut out the open world and filler

  3. Alot of people say they enjoyed ground zero more than TPP
Sadly truth is perhaps mgs just wasn't ready for open world and it was kind of unnecessary because the whole infiltration of a large facility seems to be better when in a linear lineal set up rather than probably unnecessary open world. Ground zero just had next Gen metal gear solid classic feels classic but more beautiful and far greater gameplay and physics and visuals that were honestly far above anything at the time and still holds up incredibly today when it comes to looks. Both were very beautiful.

  4. Honestly, I loved Ground Zeroes. Essentially a demo for TPP, but still great, nonetheless. I wish TPP had the same darkness and atmosphere GZ had and was more linear. The open world, repetitive mission designs and lack of story just made me lose interest in the game completely.

  5. I really appreciate your vids. Fantastic MG channel šŸ˜Š I've got a complicated relationship with Phantom Pain, I think it's absolute quality thrid person, stealth action. But I think it ultimately fails as a MG game, even without Konami's interferences. Ground Zeroes, while short, was a great demo(should not have been full price) and built anticipation beatufilly. It's atmosphere is wonderful. Night and rain is always a plus.
