  1. Hi. Just thought I'd rant about some guy who wrote, implying, that so much of Disney resorts/parks have offensive rides and that the entire wils animal kingdom is offensive overall. I found that guy offensive and feel he should just avoid the parks all together since he feels this way. I haven't started his name to avoid giving him any attention. Just wanted to throw this out there. Thanks.

  2. The plot for Tiana's ride would be great for a 10 page kids' book but is a terrible a ride idea. Disney sucks at sequels and this is reminiscent of the straight to DVD sequel fails of the 90's. E3's reveal made it worse, showing they were going cheap and the ugly water tower sticks out like a sore thumb. The smart thing to do would have been to wait for the ride to open in Florida to see what people both like and don't like in the experience, then adjust the Disneyland version accordingly. why do they keep putting people in charge who are good at business but not the entertainment business?

  3. Hopefully the queue is nothing like the Tron ride, the queue made me mad thinking they spent 5 years on that ride and didn’t bother to Theme the queue.

I’m hoping theming on the level and quality of Mystic Mannor, grizzly gulch and seven mine dwarf train.

  4. Tiana's isn't an addition, it's another re-theme. They REMOVED a popular attraction (100% purely for woke purposes) and are now rumored to completely re-theme the entire Frontierland to make it fit, and make it into some New Orleans swampland instead. As if we don't have enough swamp in Florida that we need a whole Magic Kingdom land for it? What's next to get the axe? Country Bear Jamboree? Thunder Mountain? Those things aren't woke enough for the modern Disney. Next we get Encanto and Coco land with a bunch of meet & greets! Yay! All of 1% of us are excited for that! What a great response by Disney to Universal's Epic Universe!

  5. I still say the main issue is they are rethemeing a thrill ride to a princess theme. Which means the targeted audience who are children won't be able to ride because of a height requirement or just scared of the thrill aspects of the attraction.

  6. I don't think the interior of Bayou Adventure will take very long. It's the exterior that will take up all the time! Well I don't think Magic Kingdom Tiana will open for a long time. But I think Disneyland Tiana will open in spring of 2024. Possibly even summer of 2024. But yeah I don't think the interior will take that long (at least in Disneyland) Because Mission Breakout opened up only 4 months after it closed. But the exterior had already been getting worked on for a long time. I think it's the exterior that will take up all the time. But I don't think the interior will take that long

  7. 4:30 I wouldn't mind another Runaway railway. I think that would do good at Walt Disney Studios in Paris! But I get what your saying. We can't have Disney keep cloning attractions. We need them to replace something very good for something either just as good or better. I'm sad about Splash Mountain! But I'm gonna give Tiana a chance

  8. Problem with the Splash Mountain re-theme. IMO
    1. Money spent does not increase park capacity or lower wait lines on existing rides.
    2. A Disney Princess ride that you have to be over 40 inches to ride. Not only that you get quite wet. There goes all your Bibbidi Bobbiddi Boo customers.
    3. Topography. It would have been more realistic to make a new attraction. Take the Navi River Journey ride idea and make it Tiana's Bayou Adventure. No height requirement either, all the little kids could ride and see their Princesses.
    4. If Disney had there heart on the re-theme, why do both parks at the same time. See how one is received by the public first. Imagine if they made 2 Galactic Star Cruisers?
    5. Why make the same ride at all the parks. Give people a reason to go to different parks to experience new things. Soar'in the World in Epcot, Soar'in over California in DCA. Hello?
    6. Lastly Splash is a proven beloved ride. There was nothing wrong with it. I hope you're right Tom, because Tiana's has some pretty big shoes to fill.

  9. I have such high hopes for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure – you can really tell that they are being incredibly thoughtful and intentional with this retheme! As a lover of Princess and the Frog, and jazz – I think this is really going to be something special! 💚💜💛

  10. If they will just sell New Orleans-Style Beignets at TBA, then they’ll have a bigger gold mine than those “7 guys” over in New Fantasyland.

  11. I REALLY liked the show that the barges had cuz it was this BIG SHOW in the middle of the lake that everyone could see, they had all the music, they had all the characters, and everyone could see the screens no matter where you were. Now it’s just gonna be fireworks, which are cool don’t get me wrong I LOVE BIG BOOMING fireworks but, now it feels now it’s a downgrade from a show with projections for visual aid for ppl who don’t immediately recognize everything Disney, music, AND fireworks to just music and fireworks.
Just seeing how castle empty the lake is after the barges are gone seems like they’re almost incapable of having something interesting in it.

  12. Dude you just complain so much about any thing Disney does, but you never have a complaint on your Universal theme park coverage. Do you know how much their fast pass costs? How long the Mummy was closed. No park is perfect.

  13. If they are piping in the smell of beignets, then they better sell them nearby. I can foresee big problems for them if they do this with something that smells that amazing (tastes amazing too, just in case anyone doesn't know) and they don't have them anywhere in the park. With the way people are so on edge these days, I could see it promising to be a nightmare for cast members who work on the ride and near it. With kids being hungry at weird times and anyone else that stood in that line for an hour or more smelling that delicious scent and then being told that there aren't any available unless you go to one specific hotel's cafe. That cafe is Scat Cat's Club Cafe at Port Orleans. IMHO, it's worth staying at Port Orleans just for the beignets… not that it isn't nice w/o them but you get the point 😂 (although it has been quite a few years since I've been there due to a massive car accident and then covid.) Hopefully it's still the nice resort it's been for a long time.
Take care all and big hugs, k

  14. Maybe the new $115,000 trip is to make the Starcruiser experience seem like a great deal lol. I could spend almost $500,000 for my family for less than a month or do the Starcruiser for $5,000 for 2 days

  15. Disney consistently overpromises and underdelivers, so I'll just wait and see how many animatronics actually make it into the ride. I foresee many screens… 🤣🤣😭
