Dana (Kristen Connolly) correlates the monsters with the objects in the cabin’s cellar and realizes that the objects determine which monsters are released. So, cornered by security personnel, the pair release all the monsters, which wreak havoc and slaughter the staff.

  1. I watched this movie on a lark not expecting it to be anything but a stupid teenagers get killed in a forest flick you know something along the lines of Friday the 13th wow was I surprised. This movie broke all the tropes while incorporating them. When is the sequel coming out?

  6. Funny how they were able to contain these monstrositied but end up being easy work for them.

Has this movie been more serious then it would have been amazing, especially with the monster contained trope.

  7. The Button is there because of the BS cinematic rules that run their entire scheme. There is ALWAYS a big red button of some sort in every horror cliche movie. There is always some chance (however small) that the entire plot can be turned upside down by a simple act.

  8. Makes the movie more enjoyable when it makes perfect sense they would leave the one room that have access to the BIG RED BUTTON that releases all those things WIDE OPEN and unmanned. The gore is over the top which nullifies that feeling of disgust and just full sends the hardcore 'paint the walls' theme in a high tech, only white, futuristic facility that absolutely no other facility ever created adopts because it's stupid. I already forgot that cheesy one liner she said before pressing that BIG RED BUTTON in the room in the middle of no where acting like she knew what she was doing and proceeds to get scared like it was an accident or something.

Would have been way cooler to have a pentagon style facility rather then a high school science lab or another hive form the resident evil movies.

  9. I can’t tell if the balloon-deflating-like sound is coming from the giant snake squeezing a guard to the point where the blood sputters out of him, or if it’s the sound of that robot sawblading the two soldiers’ heads.
