Refurbishing a filthy Acer Nitro 5 #gaming laptop (I love it) #pc #tech #technology #shorts

This Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop might look like it’s too far gone to be saved, but that’s not the case! I’m determined to make this pc look and perform brand new. Which means doing a deep clean and applying new thermal paste to the CPU and GPU. Saving a computer from the landfill is the reason I started my tech repair business, and I’m going to make sure this powerful piece of technology can continue to be used for years to come. Thermal compounds can be found in my Amazon store in my bio link!

  1. In all seriousness the Acer Nitro 5 is an excellent budget gaming laptop if you TAKE CARE OF IT. The hinges ARE prone to breaking, but if you're mindful of this and clean it regularly, there's no reason this shouldn't last you a long time.

  2. I have the exact same model. And it started giving me headaches!!! It’s restarting suddenly with no reason. And I was thinking about this Thermal paste issue. I’ve already bought the thermal paste, and I’ll be replacing it. But to be honest, it’s not that WoW this laptop. For me it’s a No! No! Acer again….. I really recommend other brands.

  3. Acer Nitro 5 actually just sucks in all dust that it can find, after a wipe my keyboard gets a good dust crust on the keycaps after like 1 hour of idle staying or working. May be varies with workplaces, but it's very intensive relative to other laptops

  4. My laptop before litterally, had it for 3 years and sent it in a pc service store where they cleaned it inside and outside, replaced the thermal paste, and added 8 gb of ram (to have 16 gb) and it works better than even for real, 20 degrees less (used to have temperatures up to 90 fucking degrees celsius 💀 now its 60-70)
