Hey everyone! Here it is – my reaction to Red vs. Blue season 15, episodes 15 – 18!!! OMG!!! The stuff with Grif was amazing in this episode! I love seeing him get some character development, and it’s hard not to crack up at the Castaway/impressions scene, as sad as it might be lol! Also, LOCUS OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did not see that coming at all!!! I thought he might be seeking redemption, but showing up to help and be the absolute lethal tank of a guy he is in our favor this time….just wow! Also, good thing we have some folks who can think like the other simulation troops lol….a giant drill, of course that’s what it is! Oh yeah and I am in FULL DENIAL MODE over Wash at the moment! I demand that they give me my Wash back fully healed!!! And now our crew is headed to Earth to kick some butt….let’s gooooo!!!!!!!! Great eps! Enjoy! ~ MH

  1. Based on the thumbnail this is the one with Wash getting injured… (40 minutes later) yes it is. Also in case you missed this, Caboose's battle cry when beating up the Red Zealots was "YOU! HURT! MY! FRIEND!"

  2. Temple's talk with Sarge really hammered home for me how much Temple's personality is the reverse of Church's. On the exterior, Temple seems friendly and considerate, but he's secretly demeaning and malicious to those around him. Church, on the other hand, comes across more douchey and short-tempered, but whenever he lets his guard down, we see that he really does care about his friends and is willing to sacrifice himself for them.

  3. Everyone gives props to the character development in these seasons on the initial viewing, but I think it's fair to warn you that it doesn't stick. Grif was a babbling fourth-wall-breaking go-getter for about two episodes, and nothing that happens since ever acknowledges that. Same with Sarge; he backslides almost instantly without growing as a character.

I commented a few videos ago that the reunion with the Reds and Blues was the last wholly good episode of this show. I stand by that. Wash's incident was an out-of-left-field moment, and the episode before was decent, but from this point forward there's a reliance on emotional manipulation and nostalgia baiting that makes less and less sense as time goes on. I hope you enjoy them enough to tough the next few seasons out, since the final season is around the corner, but I just wouldn't expect there to be high points like we've experienced in the series in the past.

  4. Love this stretch of episodes. It kills me that some people stopped watching rvb after season 13. Sure this arc isn’t the best thing ever, but in my opinion it’s still worth the watch just to see these extra pieces of growth between the characters. It’s part of why this show is so amazing! It started out silly good, but now it’s silly good AND emotionally deep. It’s just rad af imo.
