  1. Okay, 10/10. As the video was starting I was thinking "Man, it'd be so awesome if this final mission had two layers. The narrative is perfect for concurrent battle in orbit and on the ground…" and ya just got me.

  2. To Orcawarrior2 (and Grant because he didn't explicitly pointed it out).

I love that you slowly shifted the last few missions into a middle ground of "this is a build mission" and "you have build enough basic buildings to waste 10-20 mins per campaign mission" and just threw the player to battle at the start with really early attack waves at the end.

Not only I think it is good design due to not going too far to take away from builders and giving fighters what they are seeking. But also makes so much sense from a lore/situation perspective where you are in the climax. Also even if you have to build other bases you can use the auto cast for the economy. This all didn't receive enough praise because GGG has way too much experience.

  3. Something that I love about this mission is how quickly it starts becoming impossible to manage- even in the base game! Orca's incredible work on this mod has to be some of the most inspiring work I've ever seen for a game. This really was the magnum opus he wanted it to be. Incredible work.

  4. Oh, I am going to have to play this in slow mode. Like, I absolutely love the idea of playing through the war in the sky instead of just letting it happen in the background, but I am so bad at splitting my attention that wide. I wonder if it would be possible to separate it out so they happen sequentially… like you fight the defense of the Spear first, and it records the time of when you lose each component and transfers that over to the ground war as the next mission? Both sides would have to be rebalanced for that though…
