Today we’re flying the PMDG 737-800 from Taipei (RCTP) to the old Hong Kong Kai Tak (VHHX), flying the famous checkerboard approach onto Runway 13. Kai Tak has been closed since 1998 and very little remains today of the original Airport.
The surrounding area, airport and navigational facilities have been faithfully recreated for free by ali501 and is available to download for MSFS.

Hey captain, how do you set your tca throttle reversers to go full reverse when you press them? I haven't figured out how to set them up yet, i have to press them and then go full throttle to get reverse thrust

Je suis déçu par PMDG, car le 737 NG ne possède pas de : HUD
pas de : ADSB ( qui permet de voir les autres avions sur le ND) et qui est devenu obligatoire par la réglementation de la FAA à partir de 2020 sur tout les avions commercial.
Il manque aussi le weather radar et l'EFB. Alors que sur P3D tous cela existe bien sauf l'ADSB . A 80 euros chaque 737 -700 , 800 il vaut mieux acheter le 600 à 36 euros. En temps que vrai pilote, vous en pensez quoi ?

I will always get the fmc message "verify V Speeds" after engine start and setting TO flaps. I verified them already in the TO preparation. Am I doing something wrong?
Veeeeery niiiice livery paint. Put that a vintage eye shadow (reflection shadow) like the old 707 would be more interesting.

The old Kai Tak airport approach was more demanding but had many structures /buildings that caused a lot of near misses and I do believe one or two crashes which they decided to build a new airport.
So the zibo handling seems closer to the real aircraft, as it’s something very important to me I may buy the a320 instead which looks insane

If you have flown the zibo 737, which 737 sound and engine sound do you like more the zibo 737 from xplane or the pmdg 737 from msfs
How's the old Kai Tak like today? Has it come to the brim with containers or is it prime real estate for the takers?
I noticed that this aircraft models putting in sequential airways without having to put in the terminating waypoint first. Very cool and very convenient when having to enter a lot of airways.
