  1. I also don't like the crazy-color uniforms. The worst is the day-glo green Seahawks atrocity. I HATE the black-out unis on teams that aren't black (cardinals, eagles, redskins, etc.)

  2. Rodgers to jets to vikings will go worse than Farve to jets to vikings, u heard it first and Rodgers will definently explain how it wasn't his fault and how he's just a victim

  3. The AFC East & West are both significantly better than the AFC North. That hot take that all the AFC North teams can make the playoffs is unconscionable.

  4. Hot takes: there are inevitable growing pains when a veteran QB moves on to his first new team after a decade+ of success (see the beginning of Manning —> Denver, all of last season with Russell Wilson, early first-season Brady in TB) & those growing pains will undoubtedly happen in New Jersey with A-Rod.
However, that young, inexperienced team (albeit talented) will crumble from early stumbles as Rodgers gets acclimated combined with the extremely high expectations placed on that team. The Jets will have a disappointing season and miss the playoffs.

The team that challenges Buffalo for the AFC East crown will be Miami.

Seattle (specifically Geno) won’t replicate their success from last season and miss the post-season.

The Broncos will be rebound from their abysmal season, but will still be lucky to finish .500. It will feel like progress and Russ will improve, but it won’t be the turn around Broncos fans are hoping for.

Baltimore will disappoint. I’m a huge Lamar Jackson fan, he’s extremely talented and fun to watch, but to think he’ll suddenly become an elite 6,000 yard passer is ludicrous. I forsee injuries yet again in Baltimore, and the Ravens don’t compete for that division.

Watson and the Browns won’t get it together next year or any year.

I disagree with Jackson here, the AFC North will belong to the Bengals.

The Jaguars will lose the AFC Championship game after a stellar year, looking like a legitimate contender in the AFC’s worst division from the very beginning.

The Eagles won’t replicate their success from last season, but will still win the NFC East which is going to regress as a whole.

Paying Daniel Jones is going to seem like a horrible decision by mid-season, and it’s not going to get any better.

The Lions will win the NFC North, but the Vikings will keep it close. It’ll be a two-horse race. Justin Fields ain’t it, and the Packers will be lucky to finish around .500.

And now my hottest take of all: the Panthers will win the NFC South. Bryce Young will do just enough to guide that offense to a winning record in football’s worst division. Their only competition? The Bucs. Baker will perform at his ceiling; which is a mid-tier starter. I think Mayfield ends up as a back-up in a few years and stays there. BUT he’s got another solid season or two in him and he will outperform expectations next year. Neither the Saints nor Falcons will win more than 5 games.

KC beats the Niners in the Super Bowl, and Mahomes truly takes over Brady’s spot as the referees go ALL IN on making sure Kansas City hoists another Lombardi.

  5. To make a counter to the whole color rush uniform discussion, I don’t think the nfl would ever get to a point like the nba where teams have a ton of different uni’s. A team having an alternate uniform they wear every now and again is definitely nice especially for teams that have such iconic uniforms that they might not ever change them, the alt Uni’s can just provide a nice change up. The NHL does the alternate Uni’s the best where most games you’ll see a teams normal jerseys but each team will also have one or two alternates that they wear a few games over the season. I think the nhl just has the best uniforms in all of sports tho so that’s just me

  6. Strongly disagree that the AFC North will be a competitive division. The Browns will underperform next year and the every year until the sun burns out. Watson will never come close to being the player he was in Houston.

The Ravens aren’t suddenly going to be a this dangerous passing offense just because of Odell & Flowers; and they’ll likely fall victim to the injury bug again.

Pittsburgh will prbably finish .500 because it’s the will of the football Gods, but Pickett isn’t the future.

Cincy will run away with that division, more as a result of it not being competitive than Cincy being amazing.

  7. The Vikings are Super Bowl contenders now that Brian Flores is their DC. They won 13 games last year despite having one of the worst defenses (not for a lack of talent but a lack of scheming).

  8. Packers vs Jets Super Bowl
Packers defense is going to emerge as one of the best defenses in football carrying them to the Super Bowl
And the jets are going to be a high scoring machine with a great defense

  9. Pessimistic Broncos fan hot take: Sean Payton cannot fix Russell Wilson he will still be washed and be replaced come Week 8 by Jarrett Stidham. Also George Paton is a bad GM and we will either go 12-5 or 5-12 no in between
