  1. I dont mind players having an advantage with higher skills because they spent the time training it. I have a problem with elite perks which take the player to a superman level instead of just a set percentage ahead. they should remove the elite perks which would balance most the problems. If you spend the time training something, you will be better than others, which is fine but at no point should you be so OP that you no longer suffer from weight from equipment. Its like if someone trains up their assault rifle skills gets an elite perk which makes them have aimbot and never misses a shot anymore. that would be OP to everyone else. that is how STR, END, and PER seem to be when given elite perks. remove the perks and everything balances out.

  2. personaly i think what we need is a gym in the hideout that basicly lets you lvl strength and endurencen from a realy early hideout point in exchange for food and water and/or that we get a point system that maybe every lvl up and the first daily quests gives a universal point i can choose where i want to spend it in the softskills

but over all i feel like there is reasons why a lvl 50 pmc should move faster and carry more stuff than a fresh lvl 1 so the skills should make a notable difference but i also think you should get like 15-20lvl of endurance and strength from quests that reflect that progression

  3. My biggest wonder is if they ever plan on stopping the wipes for those of us that work its a turnoff from the game to get half way done and have to start over I'd prefer like an individual wipe of sorts like a prestige system.

  4. I think the point thing should be added into the passives yeah, and weapon mastery should be faster. But also this is a game with the plans of when it releases, it's never going to wipe again. And to insure that the majority of the player base keeps play you need 2 things. Streamers and a slow progression system. I'm 100% sure that after 2 years of no content updates, tarkov is going to have less than half the player base it does now. Less so if skills lvled faster. The point buy system is great, but I don't think you should buy a reset more than 3 times. Mostly for replayability. In alot of rpgs, you don't have any point resets. Instead most people have multiple accounts, or do account resets. I worry for the long term health of this game. It's so good, but only because of the wipe, to be forced to strive for more every 9 months. But also being forced to play more every 9 months. So many people stop playing at lvl 40, what happens when everyone can reach lvl 40? It's a rough balancing act

  5. I think player selectable skill points and respec ability are great ideas but would be perfect thing to have only available at the end of "escaping from tarkov" ie surviving the progression through the maps. It should not by something you can just buy as then it really would mean nothing past early wipe

  6. Skills have always been fucking broken OP and one of my biggest gripes about this game. They dont fit in the tarkov system being so strong. The skill bonuses need to get nerfed to shit AND they the rate at which they level up should get nerfed to shit to mirror the weapon system skills.

  7. I remember the only perk I used in COD was Dead silence, I would be quiet footed while sprinting around and be able to hear other players footsteps so easily. I feel this is somewhat similar and its really unbalanced for us casuals.

  8. While I think he’s right, the game isn’t fair. I’m a casual player, I have a more than full time job sometimes during the year, but I think the skills are the last thing I’d worry about. I mean one day I hope it’s like RuneScape, but more worried about sound, ai aimbot, and server/game performance

  9. I’m done with the video at 6:50 obviously your endurance is gonna be lower if you play more like a rat your character is supposed to be like a real person if you run a lot irl you are gonna have more stamina than a person that doesn’t run alot irl if you’re a person that is really flexible and can control your body good and have practiced not making sound alot your covert movement is up if you play a ton of raids and carry a ton of loot out your character is going to get progressively stronger it’s a wipe based game for a reason everyone’s character starts out on the same level and you can determine how you want to play it doesn’t matter the benefits or downside you can play however you want

  11. Completely agree with Klean, having tweak say it as well was just cement imo,.Tweak, I love your take, I love the idea of being able to actually have character builds and would improve gameplay experiences and would open the game up to more communities that wouldn't normally play games like this.

  12. Honestly though if you want max skills you have no life so its a sacrifice you have to make if you're committed. Saying that, when playing Mmorpgs the things that should make the biggest difference is equipment and skills to your characters capabillity. But I feel like equipment should have the higher dependency

  13. Klean just cries about everything because most people dont play the game like him, hiding in bushes and crouch walking everywhere. In real life the person that goes out jogging or running is going to build up endurance and be able to run further than someone that doesn't. He basically just wants to remove the RPG elements of the game because his skills suck because of him playing so slow. So who thinks a lvl 1 timmy should be able to run as far as someone who has over 1,000 raids and max endurance. You are literally training your PMC. That's like some 600lb guy sitting on the couch eating cheeseburgers getting mad at the world that some guy that spends hours a day at the gym training has more strength and endurance endurance than him…..its a video game, its not realistic, it has realistic elements. Maybe perception is busted. But you can tell Klean has never even had max strength because he doesn't even know what hes talking about, your chest rig, backpack and secure container still add weight to your PMC even if they are empty, its only the items on the left of your body that don't weight anything. And even once you have max strength you still have inertia, he clearly isnt anywhere near max strength and this is the first wipe with inertia so how would he even know what inertia feels like with max strength…..most of Klean's video is just him crying because he decides to play the game a certain way (slow af), you can't penalize everyone because of 1 person that cant level their skills because of their play style. Also max endurance got nerfed so hard, it used to be like popping an SJ6 before those got nerfed, you would sprint forever and you would go from 0-100 stam in literally 3 seconds. Its a video game for christ sake stop crying about it, play CoD or BF if you want everyone's skills to be the same, not a game with RPG elements…
