  1. Awesome video Bawk! I like how you appreciate different aspects of RE games – even the smallest things. I 'm watching your videos and stream from few years. It's so awesome that after all those years you still love to play RE games which makes it very enjoyable to watch! This particular video made me thinking about my ranking and it's indeed not that easy to do 😃

My favorite ones are: RE1 Remake, RE2 OG, RE2 Remake and RE3 OG so it would be my S tier. I love other games too: RE 0, CV, RE4 Remake, RE7, and RE8, but I noticed that I don't like to go back to them that often, even though the games have an amazing gameplay and overall setting. I like to explore places like Spencer Mansion, R.P.D Station and Clock Tower. Love to dive into more calming, but yet creepy mood that allows me to relax after hard day. Spending some nostalgic time and listening to save room theme is also a huge part of it. RE4, RE7 and RE8 are really action packed, which is kinda cool, but I have to feel quite relaxed to play them. I'd personally prefer to have some bigger section of the game focused on the exploration and finding the items to solve the puzzles placed all around 😊

Anyways, this was an awesome idea for the video – it was really cool to hear your expertise on each of the RE game in such a detailed way and see how you'd rank them at the same time. Thanks! 😊

  2. I played CVX two times and NEVER ran into those problems!!! I consider myself a lucky person hahaha And I love the game! Hoping for a WELL DONE remake (no RE3 Remake, plisss)
With Dead Aim on the other hand: soft locked myself in a boss fight and gave up 🙁

  3. I first found you when village came out because I didn't have a console or PC to play it and I wanted to see it, Resident Evil has been my favorite game franchise since I was 6 years old when RE 2 and 3 came out, I've played almost every game and I have to agree with you on a lot of points and opinions although it's funny because I have the same opinion as you with re5 and hating a lot of the areas but unlike you I hate the swamp/marsh area with the Crocs and voodoo guy's

  4. See your take on RE4 is exactly why I would never S rank it. There are FAR too many parts I hate, hell most of the time I replay it I never even finish, I either bounce after finishing the Village or randomly somewhere throughout the Castle. The game feels like it starts as a 10/10 and slides worse and worse as it goes, how far down it slides I don't know, it's hard to say. But it's endless unwavering praise will never be anything short of baffling to me, especially when those same praisers turn around and readily admit they think a third of the game sucks. That's not an S rank, that's not a 10/10. You can't dismiss the quality of that much of a game and still rate it like that, it's delusional.

  5. DUDE! That thing about "hating" most of the Resident Evil's 4 parts is so true, its my favourite game and I found it funny because I never thought about it till you say it

  6. One thing to note about Revelations 1 is that according to the developers in the complete works guide it was made in the style of an american TV show which is why its presented in the way it is. The melodrama of the side characters and them being basic archetypes explains so much once you realize that. Jills blue suit was made as homage to one of the blue gundam units and Parker was made to be as ugly as possible which I find hilarious because he wasnt really ugly but when the artist presented Parker to the team they all recoiled at him being ugly lol.

Id like to add that Raid mode is one of the best online experiences in the RE franchise and online gaming in general. On the surface it seems a little shallow but once you dig deep into it and try to go for trinity bonuses it becomes a whole new game. The legendary upgrades and rare weapons you can find are absolutely insane and worth the grind. Abyss mode Ghost Ship trinity bonuses are wild runs and excel the game in ways I cant describe.

  7. RE3r is one game I definitely feel no guilt for pirating. Holy yikes. First playthrough casually taking my time, going everywhere doing everything, maybe one or two deaths. Sub 4 hours. Let me say it again. YIKES

  8. With all respect Bawk, I love ur content, love your challenges and admire your knowledge at the game, but the clickbait u’ve made on the thumbnail made me skip the entire video just to see if u’ve held up to it, which was a lie. I am just confused about the fact that you don’t need to do these things, you have a great fanbase that support your content, we don’t need to see clickbaits like these to rack up your views…

Thanks to my stuborness, this made me not watch the video and I’m skipping it.

    Anyway, have a great day

  9. I wish people weren't so weird and gatekeepy about action RE. The series has been action horror since RE2 and kept trending toward action with each consecutive entry. Its even happening again with RE7 to RE2/3make to Village

  10. In my opinion RE4 is where the game began to nosedive, it's where they began to depart from a horror game to an action game in an attempt to compete with Call of Duty. Re4 itself isn't a bad game, but its success led the creators into thinking that sort of gameplay is what the players genuinely wanted, when resident evil fans wanted more creeping-horror, and less of the "so I started blasting" playstyle. So moving forward we got less puzzles, less interesting mansions and complexes and more recycled COD-maps in isreal and africa where the maps assets were all deserts and warfare terrain.

  11. Re3r was a great game. However my biggest complaint is that they cut a lot out and made it too short. I wish they would've kept the clock tower in it. While I was disappointed and hoped that they'd make it longer with a directors cut or dlc, i still like it. It doesn't deserve the hate. To each their own I guess though

  12. I dont know about how expensive is to make certain parts of the game, but it seems like RE3 remake budget was exhausted on pointless cutscenes and cutscenes maps you dont ever visit again. RE2 remake is mostly about few areas which you revisit many times and you basically milk them until its done. RE3 remake on the other hand uses areas as a backstage without "depth and meaning", some of them work, but not as they do in RE2.

  13. I've played all of the old RE games since I was a kid, fell off at RE4. Not sure if it's because of that but as time went on, CVX has been the one I return to and enjoy the most. But I never really got stuck because I used to save multiple slots like a mad man and could always reload not too far off the mistakes. But yeah, horrible game design

  15. Operation Raccoon City was my first RE title. Lol. I love it for that reason alone, but I find it hilarious that I feel more connected to those nothing characters than RE3R and Re7 Ethan? But I def know it's a bad game, it's glitchy AF, but oh I still love it. Your ranks are so good to see tho! I didn't scroll to the end and I'm NOT DISAPPOINTED! Epic Bawk content.
