Nemo Returns to Disney's Animal Kingdom, Universal Horror Nights and “One and Done” Attractions!

After a ton of parks news, our panel talks about attractions we did once, but once was enough!

Each week, we cover the top stories in Disney Parks news and discuss the topics that are top of mind for the Disney community.

Join us for another episode of ParksCenter!

We start with Disneyland news, including an incident this week where the Spiderman stuntronic crashed into the side of the building. Also, Ms Marvel and Darth Vader are both available for meet and greets for a limited time, a new exclusive entrance for hotel guests of the Paradise Pier Hotel is open, and a guest dips their feet into the waters of Splash Mountain?

Meanwhile, at Walt Disney World, the new Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond has soft-opened, boarding groups are lasting a little longer for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Battu Bounty Hunters inches closer to opening, and controversial changes coming to the Grand Floridian?

And in our Pressing Issues discussion panel, we’ll talk about attractions we did once, but will never do again. Either they were too intense, too bad, or just not our thing. Bring your list and tell us if you agree!

  1. My one and done was the wooden rollercoaster at Dollywood. Back in about 2004, we went and while riding it, my head jarred one Way due to the rickety-ness of it, causing my head to slam into the headrest and get a mini concussion. While my mom told me to "walk it off," it ruined the whole day for me and has left me a near vendetta level dislike for Dollywood. Love Dolly, but not her theme Park.

  2. Fantastic show Rob, Kamaila, Stephanie, & Matt! 🥳 More than ever, with the crowds and inflation rising, going to the parks has been quite arduous! However, if you can stay at a WDW resort Deluxe hotel and can stay in the parks later in the evening or early morning, it is absolutely worth it! 🥳🎉💙💜❤️

  3. I love the show but please start doing sound checks before you start to ensure everyone’s audio is at the same frequency. I don’t have any hearing issues but I have to constantly turn my TV volume up and down, depending on who is commenting. Rob is very soft spoken—up goes the volume—and if Kamaila follows him and I don’t turn it back down, I’m practically blasted out of my chair.

  4. Do any of the people on this show, ever watch the show? Why can they NEVER get the sound right, it sucks to turn up the volume and then be yelled at by the next host. Surely they could do some test at the beginnig before going live. and have everyone adjust their volumes to some even level.

  5. What you guys said about the bounties at Galaxy’s edge not being exciting to do like the Wands at Harry Potter is 100% on point, this is all the more the reason I need to be given the creative control of Disney parks LOL and open a 5th gate themed after kingdom hearts where you can purchase keyblades and lock keyholes around the parks it’s genius I’m telling you! Star Wars might be the bigger franchise but I’d much rather lock Disney worlds around a Disney park like I’m in Kingdom Hearts!

  6. Agreed with Kamila on the webslingers it’s not fun. Disney didn’t hit the mark with this attraction. It’s too exhausting to do, I’m fit and my forearms were still sore from doing it. Would much rather just experience an actual ride.
