Rag Plays The Witcher: Enhanced Edition – Episode: 74 (Modded)

In this episode: “Even a man who is pure of heart and says his prayers by night, may become a Wolf, when the Wolfsbane blooms and the full moon is bright.”

At long last, welcome one and all to Rag Plays The Witcher: Enhanced Edition – Director’s Cut! A classic RPG released in 2007 by CD Prokekt RED, loosely based on the series of dark fantasy novels penned by Andrzej Sapkowski. This game is easily the finest example of what story-driven Role-Playing games can offer, with a heavy focus on the inward journey of Geralt of Rivia through a gritty world where choices truly do matter. Over-used buzzwords in this day and age to be sure, but let me assure you, this game earns them in spades. I only hope my commentary can do it justice.

This is going to be my second “sensibly modded” series and like my last, I’ve taken great care not to over-do it and make the game into something it’s not. Like KotOR, I want The Witcher to remain as close to vanilla as possible while still fixing the bugs and sprucing little things up here and there. As such, I will not be running any of the major mods (RotWW, FCR etc.). Not that there’s anything wrong with them, but I prefer to recognize the games I come back to. That being said, I will list the mods I’m using in a pinned comment on the first video, so without further ado, hope you all enjoy, let’s get started!
